Even the strongest falls (part one)

FREEN'S POV

She doesn't want to see me. She won't even accept any aid from me. It's been over a month now and she's still not talking to me.

I've called her begging but all she wants is for me to break up with Becky. Why is she being so stubborn? Why won't she just let me be with the woman I love.

I have never asked of anything in my life that she didn't want. This is the first time I want something and I want it so badly but she wouldn't budge. She won't let me have it, she won't let me have Becky.

I felt so bad because she's my world and I'm watching as my world crumbles to the ground.

It was really difficult for us back in the day. A single mother taking care of a child. She suffered to train me in school. She paid all my financial bills and supported me alot.

She told me about the casting of SECRET CRUSH ON YOU (SCOY)  and also help me practice for my audition.

We celebrated together when I got the part. We practice in our shop in the market and She stayed up all night with me so that I could practice my lines to perfection.

She drove me to the shooting site and brought me back home when I was done. No matter how late at night it was, she would come to get me after working the entire day.

She was my rock, my pillar and my biggest fan. she cheered for me the loudest but now she doesn't even want to set her eyes on me.

She felt like I abandoned her because I am now rich and famous and that I don't need her anymore.

But that's not true. She's the most important thing in my life and I love her so much.

I know she's hurting real bad but I still know that she loves me seeing as she never told the public that she was against my relationship with Becky.

When she gets asked about her stance on my relationship with Becky, she would always say that she loves Becky and that she was happy about my relationship with Becky.

She's doing this to protect my public image. She's protecting me even though she claims to hate me.

It is really hard on me. I was really happy to have gotten the girl of my dreams but I still missed my mom.

There was always a problem. Either my mom is the problem or hers.

It's either my family doesn't want us to be together or her family is looking for ways to separate us.

It is true that love is above all. It is true that love is the strongest weapon but even the strongest falls. Becky and I needed our families' support and love.

I can't watch her cry every night because she misses her parents and her brother but they won't talk to her because she's in a relationship with me. We were barely hanging on without our families' love

Becky and I were in Chidlom.  Being as happy as we could be in our current situation but our happiness was short-lived when Becky's father, Mr Wesley Armstrong called Becky to return home.

Becky can't say "NO" to her father. Doing that will be the last stroke that  breaks the camel's back and so she had to go home.

"I have arrived home. I'll talk to you when I'm done talking to my dad" was the last thing Becky said to me. After which I didn't hear from Becky for two days.

I called her but her number was not reachable, I sent her messages on Twitter but she didn't respond.

Within a week, I have sent texts and voice message to all her social media accounts that I know but there was still no response.

She hasn't even been online for the past week. I became worried. What must have happened. She told me that she had arrived home, so what could be the reason for her sudden silence.

I had to return home to check up on her. When I got to her home, I wasn't welcomed in but that wasn't a surprise.

David came out to talk to me. "Is Becky home? I've been trying to get to her but I've not been able to. Can I see her?"

Becky's sleeping. You should leave now. David said.

That means she's home. Then why isn't she taking my calls? I tried calling again but it still didn't go through.

Something's wrong. She can't be alright and not want to talk to me. I told David that I'm not leaving until I see Becky.

I knew Becky won't just returned home and abandon our relationship like that.

"Becky doesn't want to see you. She's done with you. Can't you get that into your thick skull? She doesn't love you. Your relationship with Becky is an abomination.

Becky has realized this and so It's high time you did same. Two females are not suppose to be in a romantic relationship together" David continued. Pressuring me to leave the house

But I kept on insisting on seeing Becky and so Becky's mom, Mrs Malee let me into the house and told me to go to Becky's room to see for myself

When I went to Becky's room, I saw her sleeping just like David said. She was sleeping so peacefully that I didn't want to wake her up but I had to know what was going on and so I gently tapped her to wake up.

When she opened her eyes and saw me, the words that came out of her mouth were;

"what are you doing here? You should leave this instant. Haven't you cause enough trouble in my life already? Why won't you just leave me alone"

Maybe I was dreaming or I didn't hear her properly.

"Becky, baby it's me, your Freeny what are you saying to me right now? What happened? You know you can tell me anything. We're lovers remember?  we can sail the stormy sea if we stick together"

"Leave my room Freen. I don't ever want to see you again. Whatever we had going on, it's over. It was never right from the start.

I talked to Mr Chen our manager about announcing our break up but he said it was too early for that. So let's pretend for the cameras but I don't want anything else to do with you"

 Becky said pushing me out of her room. She pushed me out of the room and shut the door in my face.

David who was standing just outside Becky's room pointed me to the door, telling me to leave.

I still couldn't believe that Becky would break up with me after all I've gone through for her.

I left my mom for her and yet she is breaking up with me without so much as a warning.

I didn't want to leave. I kept on banging on Becky door to let me in so that we'll talk but she didn't open the door.

David dragged me out of the house forcefully into the street. I was too heartbroken to even act. I just wept my heart out.
