We raced into the castle, somehow it was more dull than usual. The paintings on the wall seemingly more grey. Kirishima and Katsuki were both running next to me as we bounded up the castle stairs and took a lot of turns. I was surprised that I could keep up with both Kirishima and Katsuki, not even falling behind once.

I guess the training had payed off.

"Oi, princess. What's going on in that head of yours?"

Katsuki snapped me out of my thoughts with his gruff voice. The mere sound of it made my heart beat off of course. I smiled and shook my head as we kept running.

"My dad's room is just up ahead." *I let out, a small pant escaping my lips as the continuative running finally caught up to me.  Katsuki nodded at me before bursting through the door.

Empty.

Shit.

My eyes were frantic, searching the place. "Where are they...?" I asked, my voice slightly dejected, I glanced over at Katsuki and Kirishima and they looked at me with a solemn expression. "No. They have to be somewhere." I said as I turned around to run out the door again.

Before I could even make it a few feet out the door, I crashed into someone. The momentum causing both me and the stranger to double backwards. Katsuki's hands wrapped around the back of my arms, making sure I dont fall. The other person though, was not so lucky, falling to the ground. I found my balance again, Katsuki let go of my arms and stepped infront of me, creating a barrier between me and the person. Kirishima standing behind me. He stayed silent, observing what was happening.

"Who are you?" He asked, sternly. I peered out from behind him. The person was on their back, hoisted up on their elbows, a hood covering their face.

They didn't reply.

Katsuki took a threatening step forward, bent down, latched onto the person's shirt and pulled them up in one swift motion. They seemed surprised as their hands were waving frantically at the lack of balance.

He yanked back the hood and his grip on their cloak loosened. My eyes went wide as I recognized their face.

"Mom?"

She looked behind Katsuki, seeing me. Her eyes immediately glossed over.

"(Y/n)?" She whispered out before breaking out of Katsuki's grasp and stumbling over to me, wrapping me in the tightest embrace.

"Oh, honey..." She spoke into my shoulder, stroking my hair with her other hand. I hugged her back.

"I missed you so much- I thought you were gone I-"

"Shh, mom, I know..." I tried to comfort her, rubbing a hand up and down her back. "I'm okay, I'm here."

A broken inhale left her as I heard her sniff. "I thought you became impure-"

A scoff interrupted her. She pulled back and locked eyes with Katsuki.

He had a scowl plastered on his face. "That impurity shit the kingdom drilled into your heads is a bunch of bullshit." He said. My mom froze before looking over to me. Kirishima also stepping into view, a sheepish smile on his face.

"Who are these boys...?"

I stepped towards the two boys, leaving my mom staring at the three of us. I pointed at the angry blonde.

"Mom, this is Ba-"

"Katsuki."

He had interrupted suddenly. I looked over at him confused. He glanced at me.

"You call me Katsuki."

My heart fluttered a little but I managed not to die right there. He glanced back at my mom.

"The name's Katsuki Bakugou." He said in a gruff voice. Kirishima stepped forward too with a cheeky smile. "And I'm Eijiro Kirishima."

She glanced between them before looking at me again. "They took me in ater I ran away. I'm their stray." I smiled at her.

"Right... So you're outsiders?" She asked. Bakugou's face immediately turned sour. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

I stepped in between before this conversation escalates. I suddenly remembered why I'm here.

"Mom, where's dad?" I asked, serious again. That seemed to gain her attention too. "Enji." She said with hatred laced in her voice.

"Where are they going?" I asked, stepping forward. A look of dread passed on her expression.

"The dragonstone."

My stomach dropped.

Y'all am so sorry for the SUPER DUPER FUCKING late chapter. School was KICKING my ass and we were writing exams. I'm on vacation so we're beck in business baby!
