After a long moment of just gazing at each other, I asked, "Can I ask you something?"

Sabil moved back in his seat, taking me in his arms again, and said, "Of course, baby. You can ask me anything you want to know. And I promise I won't hide anything from you this time.

"How did you know I was here?"

I heard Sabil laugh softly. "You know it's not hard for me, right? And I already told you I had someone visit India every now and then. I got word from him that you were coming to Spain for a project. I could have stopped you. But I knew this was one of the biggest projects, and they have already invested millions. Spain had been in their contract for ages. There was nothing I could have done except convince them not to hire you for this project. But I could never do that to your career. I know you have waited a long time for an opportunity like this. There was also a selfish reason." Sabil caressed my head and whispered in my ear, "I wanted to see you."

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, first of all, you said you weren't keeping a tap on my personal life. You only tried to get the news about whether I was safe or not. Second, how do you know so much about Nasch?"

Sabil held me tighter and sighed into my hair. A tickle ran through my body as I felt his warm breath on my skull.

"Carino, I never inquired about your personal life or saw a single picture of you. Only when that guy told me that it was important for me to know, did I agree to know what was going on with you. He told me that you were planning to come to Spain for a project. He found out about the company, and it wasn't hard for me to get in touch with them. Of course, I didn't mention your name. I only inquired if it was possible for them to change their shoot location. That's when they told me about the contract and the money that they had invested."

"How were you able to get in touch with them?" I asked.

"I have contacts, baby. For a long time, I have been investing in advertisements and brands in India. It's one of my businesses. That's how I saw you the last time. I was there to meet everyone at The Everyday Woman's Magazine."

I smiled broadly and said, "I still remember that day. I still remember the way you stared at me so bluntly."

Sabil laughed, "I am sorry about that. I liked to have it my way back then. My eyes had fallen on you, and I wanted you no matter what. I even threatened to kidnap you."

"Oh, you did kidnap me." We both laughed. It was such a happy moment, reliving the memories.

"You were mean to me. I mean, you still are. You pulled my hair back at the Gothic Quarter."

Sabil grabbed me tight with both his hands and kissed my hair, saying, "I am so sorry, baby. I don't know why I lose my temper sometimes. Especially when I see you with someone else. God, I am so crazy about you. This has never happened to me before. Not even Maya had this spell on me when we were dating. No woman in my life had ever meant so much to me. Only you have the ability to rile me up. God, I can't see anyone getting even a tad closer to you. What have you done to me?"

I buried my face in his chest, inhaling his beautiful perfume and trying to believe that someone like Sabil was crazy about someone like me.

I then slowly brought my face closer to his and kissed his lips. As his tongue fought with mine, his enormous hand slipped from my face and through my hair. While kissing, I slowly unbuttoned his shirt, and he yanked a chunk of my hair. When his shirt was unbuttoned and open, Sabil slowly pulled his tongue out of my mouth. I unwillingly allowed him to do so.

"Saanj, let's not do this. You are leaving the day after, and this will only make it harder for me to let you go. I have a hard time not thinking about you when you're gone." He said while his face was still closer to mine. He wanted it too. I could tell from all the warmth coming off his body that he wanted this.
