Mario sent us dinner from the restaurant that night. Sabil and I sat with the other guys for dinner. Daniel was there too. I decided to strike up a conversation with him to get to know him better.

"So, Daniel, where are you from?" I asked. Everyone's eyes were suddenly on me.

"I am from Madrid. But my grandfather was from Kenya. He moved here ages ago. I studied at Complutense University." He replied.

"Oh, so what do you like apart from shooting?"

"Archery. I was quite interested in archery, but there isn't much opportunity for that. That's why I took interest in guns. But I'm also taking archery lessons. Senor had me enrolled in one." He remarked this while smiling at Sabil.

"Really?" I asked Sabil.

He simply rolled his eyes and continued eating his food. I know Sabil didn't like bragging. But his friends never hesitated to tell the truth.

"Yes, it's true." Guzman replied. "I've always been interested in Jujutsu. But my parents didn't have enough money to enroll me in one. So, Senor paid for my classes, and I completed them last year. I've even got the certificate."

I smiled. "I am proud of you, Guzman."

"Thank you, Saanj. It's all because of him." Guzman looked at Sabil.

"Finish eating." Sabil scolded. This man really hated attention. Everyone at the table chuckled.

Mario's cooking is always so delectable that I tend to overeat. I finished the sushi and gulped down a bottle of wine. I had to go to bed to catch a flight the next morning, but my stomach was heavy. I looked outside the window at the beautiful sea. A walk down the beach would be a nice idea. Sabil grabbed my back and rested his chin on my shoulder.

"What are you thinking, Carino?" He asked softly.

"I ate way too much. I need to take a walk." I replied whilst staring at the beautiful, dark sea.

"Let's go, he said.

"Near the sea, I replied.

He turned me around. His eyebrows were creased. "It's too dark, Cari. And the sea only looks close. It's a thirty-minutes drive from here."

"I might never come back to this place, Sabil."

He rolled his eyes and sighed. "You know how to make me say yes. You know I hate it when you speak about separation. Smart move, Ms. Mehra." His lips twitched into a smile.

I chuckled. We changed into comfortable clothes before leaving. I wore black track pants and a black sweatshirt. Sabil wore the same. Emilio and Daniel had to accompany us for our safety. Guzman and Julio stayed back to guard the house. I wondered if I'd ever get a moment alone with Sabil.

Emilio came to a halt near the entrance to the marine area. It wasn't really a beach, but there was plenty of space to walk. The shore was narrow, and the sea water splashed against the dark, granite mountains.

We took another route, a little farther from the mountains. The area was dark, so we had to keep the car headlights on. Sabil held my hand as we made our way down the narrow road.

"Were they with you on your honeymoon too?" I taunted.

Sabil laughed. He then pulled my cheek and replied, "They weren't even in my life when I got married. But if I was in this situation when I got married, they might have been there as well."

"I pity your future wife." I said it sarcastically.

"Stop it," he said. I chuckled.

We reached near the sea and walked hand in hand. The sea looked extremely dark since the clouds had covered the moon. I enjoyed the quiet, the breeze, the fact that I was holding Sabil's hand, and the fragrance of his perfume mixed with the damp sea smell.
