Sabil made me sit in the passenger seat and strapped me in. He then got in the driver's seat and started driving.
"Sabil?" I called.
"Si, Carino?" Sabil said.
"Casa de Amor. Does it mean house of love?" I asked while my eyes were closed and I was waiting for my head to stop spinning.
"Si," Sabil replied.
"Why did you name it that?"
"Because I wanted people to come here and express their love to their partners. Every day, there's beautiful jazz playing inside the restaurant. I am sorry I couldn't take you to the first floor. That's where the most brilliant musicians come from around the world. I just wanted to spend time with you alone, in silence."
"Hmm... Next time then." I said that without opening my eyes.
"Next time, then." Sabil spoke in a low voice.
I never realised when I drifted off to sleep. When I opened my eyes, I was lying on a soft bed. The room was dark, but it certainly didn't feel like my hotel room. I started looking for my cell phone. I found it under my pillow and turned the flash light on. I saw that I was in another room. I found a lamp beside my bed. I switched the light on, and found that I was not in a hotel room. This looked like home.
When I looked down, I found that I was dressed in a white satin gown. My black dress was gone. I quickly jumped off the bed and looked for the switch board for the ceiling lights. I couldn't find any. I grunted in frustration and switched on the other side's table lamp. I then looked at myself in the mirror and found that I was still wearing my makeup. I quickly removed my false eyelashes and started searching for the bathroom to wash my face.
God knows where Sabil has brought me, but this place can at least have ceiling lights. While I looked for the bathroom in the huge bedroom, I heard someone opening the door. I froze in place and looked behind me. Suddenly, the ceiling lights came on, and I saw the beautiful Greek God standing right in front of me, still dressed in black.
"Hey, you're up." Sabil said as he approached me.
"Where am I? And how did you turn the lights on?" I cursed myself for asking such stupid questions.
"Well, you are at my place, Moreno Mansion, and there is actually a remote for the lights." Sabil said this while showing the tiny white remote.
I flicked one eyebrow, "Classy." I said.
"What are you looking for, Cari?"
"Washroom. And by the way, whose night gown is this?" I asked.
Sabil laughed softly and held my hand to guide me to the washroom."I had it picked out for you." He said.
"You think I'm a fool, Sabil? We left so late from your restaurant. You couldn't possibly have found anything open to choose a dress for me. I am sure this belongs to one of those women who came here to sleep with you." I said in distaste.
Sabil switched on the bathroom light and said, "Don't be silly, Saanj. It's not hard for me or my men to find anything at any hour. Besides, it's been months since a woman has come here."
"Did you make me sleep on the same bed as those women?"
Sabil rolled his eyes. "This is my bedroom, baby. I made out with those women only in the guest bedroom."
I felt a sigh of relief. "Okay." I said and went inside the bathroom. I shut the door and peed.
After that, I washed my face with face wash. My skin had started to irritate. I was used to applying a cucumber moisturiser due to my sensitive skin. I came out of the washroom and found Sabil still standing near the washroom door.
