Saanj's P.O.V
Arman and I left our rooms to reach the shoot location. Rex had left early to set up the camera and prep for the shoot. The moment we stepped out of the hotel doors, we found a couple of security guards around the hotel. They were all in grey uniforms and black sunglasses. I must admit that they were all good-looking men. The kind you see on television. Honestly, they looked better than the men I have walked the ramp with.
Arman said, "It looks like some big shot is in the hotel."
"Or maybe there is a threat around," I said as we got in the car.
"Is that your experience speaking?" Arman asked, smirking.
I nodded.
We reached the shoot location, and I quickly got my hair and makeup done. When I was ready, I walked up to the staging area. Rex waved at me from a distance. I waved back. He then walked towards me, almost running as if he were going to miss the chance to see me up close. He wore a white shirt underneath a sleeveless black suede jacket, which he paired with blue jeans. This man is seriously drool-worthy. I smiled broadly as he came closer and stood before me.
"Hey gorgeous." He said it, smiling.
"Hey." I blushed.
Rex didn't say anything further. He stared into my eyes and gave me butterflies in my stomach. He was too handsome to ignore. Although Sabil is now in my life again, he is no longer truly a part of it. Besides, I am not sure if he even loves me. Why do I go back to thinking about Sabil when someone as handsome as Rex is standing right here who likes me more than I like him?
"Aren't you going to say anything?" I asked.
He side smiled. "How about dinner after shooting?"
"Well, I'd love to. But I don't like leaving Arman alone all the time."
"Oh, that's right. How about you bring him with you? I would love to get to know him."
"Are you sure?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yes, why not?"
"Well, then why don't you come back to my room? I'll ask Arman to be there, and we can order room service with some wine."
"Sounds fantastic." Rex said, and then he placed his palm on my cheek. "I am going to get back to work. Be ready to get clicked."
"I am ready." I said, blushing.
Rex had a huge grin on his face throughout the shoot. I had to keep my emotions in check and give the expressions that were required for the shoot.
I changed into my regular clothes after the shoot and called Arman. He came running to pick me up, like an obedient friend.
"Wow, didn't you hook up this time?" I asked as I got in the car.
"No. I was waiting for you all the time." He said. The driver started the car, and we were on our way to the hotel.
"How come you are without a date today?" I teased.
Arman rolled his eyes. "I am not always with a date, Saanj. Besides, I was worried about you. I wanted to keep an eye on you till you finished."
I creased my brows in perplexity. "Why?" I asked.
"I am worried that your psychotic ex-lover is going to show up again. I just don't want you to get distracted from your work. This is the biggest project you could ever get." Arman said.
I chuckled. "You are a sweetheart, Arman. But you don't have to worry. Sabil cannot distract me anymore. And even if he shows up, he'd never harm me."
"Well, don't be so sure. That guy was involved with the mafia. Who knows what he's dealing with now?"
