This plane crash takes us to the Latin American country of Haiti, which is located next to the Dominican Republic and it's located near Jamaica and Cuba.

Tropical Airways Flight 1301, registered as Hotel Hotel- Papa Romeo Victor (HH-PRV), was a scheduled domestic short haul passenger flight, that was flying from Hugo Chávez International Airport (IATA: CAP, ICAO: MTCH), Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, to the commune of Port-de-Paix airport (IATA: PAX, ICAO: MTPX), Haiti, when the plane crashed onto a sugarcane field less then 10 minutes after takeoff on the evening of the 24th of August 2003, the aircraft was a 19 seater Let L-410 Turbolet aircraft that was carrying 19 passengers and 2 crew (21 in total), witnesses stated that the aircraft caught fire during the takeoff and it exploded when it hit the ground, all 21 people on board were killed in the crash.
Flight 1301 took off from Runway 05 at Hugo Chávez International Airport at around 04:50pm local time, during the takeoff, ATC at the control tower spotted that the cargo door was opened, the controller was preparing to tell the flight about the problem, the Flight crew asked to return to the airport to land, the controller granted permission and they were asked to make a right wind landing, the plane turned to the left , then it crashed, skidded and exploded, which was followed by a rising thick black smoke, locals rushed to the scene to help, along with rescuers, they found charred and scattered wreckage on a sugarcane field about 2 kilometres from the airport, all 21 people on board were killed in the crash, most of the bodies were charred beyond recognition.
The summary of the crash was that the plane stalled, cargo door opened in mid-flight and pilot error.
