This plane crash takes us to the West African nation of Mauritania, which is located next to the following countries: Algeria, Mali, Senegal and Western Sahara.

Air Mauritanie Flight 625, registered as 5 Tango- Charlie Lima Foxtrot (5T-CLF), was a Fokker F28 Fellowship 400 aircraft which crashed on landing at Tidjikja Airport (IATA: TIY, ICAO: GQND), Mauritania on the 1st of July 1994 in sandstorm conditions, all four crew members and 76 out of the 89 passengers (80 were killed, 93 people were on board, 13 people survived the crash) were killed in the crash, which remains the deadliest crash involving a Fokker 28 and is the deadliest aviation disaster in Mauritania.
The aircraft was operating as Flight MR625 (other information states the flight number as MR251) from Nouakchott Oumtounsy International Airport (IATA: NKC, ICAO: GQNO), Nouakchott, Mauritania to Tidjika, Mauritania, on board the plane were 89 passengers and 4 crew members (93 in total), the landing at Tigjika was performed in a sandstorm, the F28 had made several approached to the airport before it made a heavy landing, which caused the front landing gear/undercarriage to collapse and the aircraft slid off the runway, crashed into a rocky outcrop and burst into flames, only 13 passengers survived the crash while all four crew members and the remaining 76 passengers were killed in the crash.
