A/n: Thursday is tomorrow. Tomorrow is Thursday... Why not get an early start? I couldn't help myself.

Selina's POV
I grew up in Daa Haan. I was surrounded by water and thus, swimming is second nature to me. I did not know the full scope of Adryan's plan. I did my part. I shot at the king. I also took advantage of the situation and shot at the Courtier. How could I not? The part about jumping off a steep cliff with rocky mass into the sea below was a no. It was the cliff or immediate beheading. I chose the cliff. When I hit the water, I went under. The waves are strong.

I gasped for air upon coming up. My eyes darted around at the nothingness of blue. The palace is a little far off. The waves have carried us further. I can't see anyone.

"Adryan!" I screamed. "Adryan!"

Where could he be? Waves are slapping against me trying to take me under. The waters in Daa Haan are gentler and much warmer.

"Selina!" I saw Keli.

He swam towards me and we steafied each other. "Where is Adryan?"

We both looked around. If he's not on the surface...

I didn't hesitate when I dived under at once. I saw him. He's not moving. There's red all around him. I swam his way with my heart thudding harder than the thunderstorms in Daa Haan. I grabbed his waist and swam upwards to the light.

"Keli help! Help me! I have him." Keli swam his way towards us. He held Adryan as I observed him. He's been shot twice. I felt for a pulse. It's faint. "He's passed out... he's badly hurt. We need to swim back to shore so that I can help him!"

"The only shore is Cray Thera. I'm not going back there!" Keli informed me as I took off my blouse and used it to wrap Adryan's neck. "Saine Neane is too far and the waters too cold. Didn't the queen mention a boat?"

We looked around. As far as we can see there's no boat. Was she wrong? Will we freeze to death? Evening is fast coming and the tides will take us back to Cray Thera. I am holding on to Adryan, my arms around him and my legs kicking. I can't swim with him. He's heavy. I took a moment in all this panic to gaze at the handsome prince in my arms. He would die ten times over before he allows me to hold him like this. I see why Clover loves him. There's something peaceful about him when he's like this. He can't die. His mother asked me to take care of him.

"Saine Neane. We better start moving. You're stronger than me. Help him."

"We won't make it."

"I'll die trying. He didn't do all of this for us to die! Adryan!" He's bleeding through the yellow blouse wrapped around his neck. If he keeps losing blood like this he will die. "Adryan please wake up. Please."

"Do you hear that?"

I paid attention. "Boat!" I screamed. "Boat!"

We have never been happier to see a boat. We bring me into immediate celebration. There are two men on the boat. A young man and an older one.

"Wait! What if it's the king's men?"

"It doesn't matter. Saving Adryan is what matters."

As it got closer, my heart began a different rhythm, not one of excitement but crippling fear. The two men stopped the boat close by. The older one is looking at Adryan. I held him even more tightly. He's starting to slip and I don't think I e can both stay afloat.

"Is Adryan dead?"

"No! He's passed out." I answered.

"I was told to save the prince. If he's dead, I'm leaving. You two are not my priority!"
