Selina's POV
My father received a wedding invitation from Prince Relian. I'm included in the invitation. It only makes sense that he would invite us, even after choosing not to support the crown. I doubt that even he supports the crown. But even if Prince Relian approves of us, his father doesn't.  Does the king know we have been invited?

While I am not opposed to watching two people committing to a lifetime of misery, I shot at the king. Can he really just forget about it so that we can eat cake at his son's wedding?

I hardly doubt that.

"Will you attend the wedding?" Samira asked me.

"Probably not. Is Adryan going?"

"I wouldn't know." She chuckled. "I would ask the queen but I don't think she likes me at all."

"Is it because you told Adryan?"

"Yes." She put down her empty cup of tea. She sighed heavily. "Did I do the right thing by telling him?"

"Yes you did."

"People died because of it. I see why the queen wanted to keep it quiet. I feel horrible."

"Those people deserved it." I told her. "I am grateful for what you did. Sharing my grief with Adryan has kept me from losing my sanity. I didn't have the strength to tell him. Thank you for doing it."

She reached out and took my hand. "I care about you. I'm happy to know it helped. At least something good came out of it. Do you know what else is good? Lucy and the others are joining us."

"I thought they wanted to go back to Fisherman Cove."

"I thought so too. But isn't it wonderful? We can all be together again."

I shrugged. I don't care that much. Whatever makes them happy is good for me. "It's nice."

The door suddenly burst open and.Lucy came in weeping. She hugged Samira as her tears flowed.

"What is it?" I asked to end the sudden confusion.

"It's the Queen. She is angry at me. She says she will send me back north within the hour."

"What did you do?" I frowned.

"There was a box she asked for. It has her personal items. I sent the box to her but I removed something from it-"

"Selina." The Queen opened the bedroom door and looked at me. "May I have a word?" I got up immediately, making my way to her. We stepped out into the hallway and she looked around before she cleared her throat. "Adryan is in his way here and he is not happy with me."

"What happened?"

"Clover wrote him a letter-"

"Clover? Where is she?"

"Clover wrote him a letter and I hid it from him. General Taof received it, have it to Keli and he didn't give it to Adryan, he brought it to me."

"Why would... what does the letter say?"

"She was asking for his help. She says she's trapped in the Chrystal Isles. Keli and I agreed that Adryan doesn't need to get emotional and make irrational decisions because of that girl. I hid the letter. But because of everything that happened with the base and your miscarriage, I left it in a box at the base. Silly Lucy gave it to Adryan. Now he knows. I just thought I should give you a heads-up."

She walked away briskly.

There was a time in my life I badly wanted to find clover. I would have given anything even my life to find her. We were close, like sisters. Something has changed. I fell in love with Adryan. We have been through a lot together. I never want to be separated from him yet Clover resurfacing means I'll lose him. I can't lose him.
