Chapter 21

****STEVE'S POV****

I ran for my life while screaming bloody murder. I made the terrible mistake of deciding to teach Sydney Blair Henderson, the love of my life and the greatest pain in my ass, how to drive... The woman has been arrested more times than I can count on one hand... And I decided to teach her how to operate a two ton weapon on wheels. I told her to keep her eyes on the road and somewhere in her evil twisted brain, she decided that I'm the road.

I could hear her laughing as she mowed down another rose bush and turned to get off the sidewalk and back on the road. There goes my suspension... Maybe a tire... The one thing I was certain of was the undercarriage of my baby was undoubtedly scratched to all hell. I stood on the neighbors lawn hunched over with my hands on my knees and breathing heavily.

"SYDNEY NO!" Eddie shouted as he hauled ass towards me from my backyard after hearing the commotion.

I was just grateful she changed targets. Lu however was driving around in Eddie's van just fine... She would hit the breaks a little too sudden here and there and the van would jerk to a stop, but for the most part she wasn't too bad of a driver.

Eddie ran for his life, he had to be careful because he literally just got back into Syd's good graces so one wrong move and he'd be a speed bump.

"Please stop!"

"HAVE SOME FUN, EDDIE!" Sydney yelled.

"Stop trying to kill my boyfriend!" Lucy shouted as she hit the horn.

"I'LL STOP WHEN HE STOPS HURTING YOU!"

"I MADE IT UP TO HER!" Eddie shouted.

"Yeah he did." Lu sighed.

"Hey!" I snapped, "Don't you... LUCY... LUCY NO!"

Sydney slammed on the brakes and my car came to a sudden stop, "BITCH.... ANAL?"

"WHAT?" I asked, "EDDIE, WILL KILL YOU-"

"STEVE, NO. I SWEAR WE DIDN'T-"

"SYDNEY, NO! STEVE STOP!" Lucy shouted, "We didn't do that!"

"You're so vanilla." Syd sighed as she shook her head.

I raised an eyebrow, "But we haven't even-"

"Who said I'd be the one taking it?" Syd asked and winked at me.

I swear I felt true fear... I mean I always feel true fear around Sydney, amongst other things... I both love and fear this insatiable divine creature of a woman... But I felt true fear in that instant...

"OH MY GOD, WHAT?!" Eddie asked as he spun around at the speed of mach Jesus.

"Oh my..." Lucy gasped.

"NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. I AM SHUTTING UP." I muttered.

"You're all mine... You tasty little Sailor."

"Tasty little sailor is a new one!" Eddie laughed.

"I will fucking kill you, Munson." I seethed knowing Munson would never let that one go.

"I'll lay ou-"

"You'll what?" Sydney asked.

"Leave the door unlocked for him." Eddie smiled.

"That's what I thought." She grinned.

"Okay enough arguing while behind the wheel of MY car... Please, I beg of you. I'm pretty sure that my suspension is shot and there is a tire I need to replace... along with a weekend's worth of buffing and waxing all the scratches out...Syd... Please..."
