****SYDNEY'S POV****

I personally went with Steve when he had to get his hair fixed. I threatened the stylist and told him myself that if he ever fucks up my Baby Girl's hair ever again that I will personally end his entire bloodline. Am I upset he hid his hair care routine from me? A little bit, but it doesn't mean I love him any less? Of course not, he is the father of my unborn crotch goblins after all. I can't wait to have my own little gremlin army with him... I hope he's ready for it. It will be chaotically amazing and he thinks he will have a say in it.

Lucy is away at a volunteer event for the next two weeks which shocks me because she still manages to stay ahead of her classwork while she's away helping the poor, passing out Christmas gifts to underprivileged kids, mentoring at risk youth, or tutoring others in her various knowledge of every subject... She says something about early college admissions... I don't know where she's been applying to because she says she doesn't wanna jinx anything... Whatever suits her fancy I guess... She said it would be close... My only real fear is losing her.

I walked into Scoops and saw a girl with long black wavy hair, big blue eyes, and pink pouty lips. She was beautiful... She looked almost like a doll... She was in the Scoops Uniform and standing behind the counter... Where's Robin?! Who is this impostor? How the hell is it okay for her to have a uniform but if I put one on it's stealing?

"Ahoy! Welcome to... Wait..."

"It's okay it's... Oh hey, Baby!" Steve smiled, "What are you doing here?"

"Hello... I'm just walking around with Eddie. He's at the candy shop swiping samples.... He has the munchies. Who is this? Where is Robin?" I ask as my eyes lock on the unidentified threat near my Baby Girl.

"I'm Sophie! I just got hired!" She smiled, "How do you know Steve?"

I smiled and blinked a couple times as I tilted my head to the side, "I'm the love of his life."

"Sophie, this is my girlfriend, Sydney." Steve smiled as he leaned down and kissed my cheek.

Have you ever come across someone and just know they're a bitch? I feel it in my bones that this bitch is going to be a problem... I'm never wrong about this kind of stuff either... My Baby Girl is also too oblivious to read the room. She has no idea the hold I have in this town. I will be her demise if she thinks she has any kind of pull over my man. I will level this town looking for her, I will hold her head in my hands and keep it as a damn trophy... A warning to others not to touch what's mine.

"Steve didn't tell me he had a girlfriend!" She laughed as she playfully smacked his arm.

Had? Oh I see you, Bitch. Who does she think she is to touch him...

"Has. Has a girlfriend." I smiled back at her as Steve put his arm around my shoulders.

"Sorry! It's my first day." She smiles at me.

I'll make it your last day on Earth, bitch. Don't try me.

One wrong move... One more touch... I will break your arm off and beat you to death with it, you scum sucking road whore.

"Hi Sophie." I say in a fake tone.

"Alright, Baby. I gotta show Sophie around the flavors and menu. I'll see you after work. You and Eddie doing your Dungeons and Dragons thing?"

"Not tonight. That's Friday, Baby Girl." I smile, "Tonight we are just gonna watch movies and pretend to attempt to study."

"The usual." He grins, "Be safe. Have fun. Don't drive Eddie's van."
