↤Chapter 2: The Reunion↦

When the bus pulls up in the bus station in Hawkins, everyone gets off including the Byers family. Successfully, they get their suitcases down with no problem. Joyce Byers phones a taxi to get to the Wheelers household which is where they'll be meeting everyone. Once Joyce gets off the phone, she turns to both of her sons.

''The taxi will be here shortly,'' She said taking out a packet of cigarettes' and she took one out  and lit one. While she smoked her cigarette, Will began to daydream. I cannot wait to meet all my friends again! he thought, especially Mike! he thought.

There is something you might not know about Will Byers. Other than being extremely talented at painting and drawing, he has a secret. A secret that a lot of people find rather disgusting. He likes someone. But not just anyone. He likes his bestfriend. I know what you all are thinking:

 ''What's so wrong about liking his bestfriend?''

 There is ,of course, nothing wrong about liking his bestfriend. But what if I told you that's its the same gender? Most people would go:

''That's unacceptable! ''

''That's disgusting! ''

''How is he not ashamed? ''

''You shouldn't be able to like the same gender! '' 

''It's just a phase you'll grow out of it!''

Yes. That's most people. The other half would go:

''I understand. '' 

''That's perfectly acceptable!''

''I support you no matter what!''

''I'm glad that you told me,''

See, Will doesn't know what reaction he wants if he tells someone. He doesn't want to be told that it's a phase. Or be told that they understand and they support and continue to ask how they're feeling. He just wants to tell someone, and they'll forget about it and act like nothing happened and treat him like a normal person. But that's the problem, he doesn't know who to tell because he doesn't know which reaction they'll have.

Will got snapped out of his daydream when his brother gently shook his shoulder to tell him that the taxi has arrived. Will stowed his suitcases into the boot if the taxi along with the other suitcases. Every minutes in the taxi, he felt more and more excited. And finally, the taxi pulled up at the Wheeler household. The front door flung open and out ran everyone. Will Byers was the first one out of the taxi. Then Johnathan stepped out of the taxi and was nearly knocked over when his girlfriend, Nancy Wheeler, went flying at him to give him a hug.

''Hey,'' Johnathan said while Nancy Wheeler hugged his boyfriend so tight that he could barely breath.''Nancy. Nancy I can't breathe,'' Nancy Wheeler let him go and kissed him on the lips.

When Joyce came out of the taxi, the mother of  the  Wheelers, Karen Wheeler, goes to greet her.

''Joyce!'' She exclaimed giving her a small hug and then pulling away.''Hey Karen,'' Joyce said smiling at her.'' How was the flight?'' Karen asked her friend.'' It wasn't that bad,'' Joyce replied. Karen Wheelers husband, Ted Wheeler, came out to greet the Byers family when he usually just stays inside and eating his chicken.''Hello, Joyce. Long time no see,'' Ted said extending out an arm for her to shake. Joyce shook his hand and turned to her significant other, Jim Hopper, and gave him a strong hug.

''Hey, Joyce.'' He said hugging her back awkwardly. These two had a good history together. They went to high-school together and Hopper had liked her since then. She exchanged hugs with her other friends and warm welcomes and thank you's

Will got surrounded by his friends giving him a hug.
''Jesus guys! Maybe one at a time? You're all squashing me!'' Will exclaimed. They all pulled away. The first person to hug him was his bestfriend, Max Mayfield, who had always had his back.
''I'm so glad that you're back! I couldn't be stuck wit these assholes any longer,'' Max said.
''Hey!'' The party said. The red head laughed at them. Max pulled away and the second person to hug him was his other bestfriend, Lucas Sinclair, who was his bestfriend since the second grade.
''It's been ages, Will!'' He exclaimed as he pulled Will into a tight hug.
''I know. I'm glad to be back!'' Will said hugging back his bestfriend. Lucas pulled away and a curly-haired boy who also happens to be his bestfriend since the second grade, Dustin Henderson, gave him a big hug.

''It's been about two years, but you're still rocking that bowl-cut!'' Dustin exclaimed as the entire party laughed.''Oh shush!'' Will said. Dustin pulled away and next came is his step-sister, Eleven Hopper.''Will!'' She exclaimed rushing to her brother who she had missed so sorely.''El!'' Will said as he gave her the biggest hug. ''I've missed you so much!'' El said staying in her brothers arms.''I have too, El.'' He said, pulling away rom the hug.

Will made eye-contact with his bestfriend, who is also his crush, Mike Wheeler. Mike was ecstatic to see his bestfriend after so long. He ran into his bestfriends arms only to slow down and to give him a side-hug. Will wasn't expecting that. Hopefully none of the party noticed, Will thought. Of course, he was wrong. Max noticed. And so did some else. There were two other people who had to give Will a hug. A nineteen year old with '' volumpous'' hair who is fresh out of high-school, Steve Harrington, gives Will a slight hug and just nods at him.

''Nice to see you again, mini Byers,'' He said. His bestfriend, however, an eighteen year old who is a lesbian, Robin Buckley, gave Will a massive hug.

''Hey, Byers!'' She said as she pulled away. ''Heard a lot about you. I'm Robin,'' She said extending out a hand and Will shook it.

''Right! Everyone head into the garden!'' Karen Wheeler cried once everyone hugged and exchanged some words. They all trooped inside, the Byers bring their suitcases. Mike offered to bring Will's suitcase and bag upstairs. ''Why?'' Will asked. ''Oh. Sorry, I forgot to say that you're staying at ours tonight.'' Mike said struggling with the suitcase. Will went to help him. ''Right, I never knew.'' Will said helping his bestfriend/crush carry up the suitcase. Once they brought it in the landing, Will rolled the suitcase into Mike's room. It hasn't changed much since the last time he last saw it.

Except for one thing. There was a bunch of drawings on the right hand corner of the room. They were Will's drawings. Will turned around to face a flustered Mike Wheeler. ''Sorry, forgot to take them down.'' The raven-haired boy said walking over to the drawings. ''Don't.'' Mike turned around. ''What?'' He asked. ''Don't take them down. I'm fine with it,'' Wil replied, smiling at Mike. Mike smiled back making Will blush. ''Right, we should go down to the garden then,'' Mike said walking out of the room. Will followed him. Mike opened the back door, and there was everyone. Eating, Laughing and Drinking. Will sat down where is friends were and began talking. Oh how he missed talking to his friends! Sure, Will made friends in Lenora but he missed his sister and friends.  

He was having lots fun and he didn't wanted the day to end. But as we all know, nothing lasts for forever. Life isn't all about fun and the good things that happened. It's sometimes about the pain and mistakes you've made.

Poor Will thought that when he's here nothing would change. Oh just how wrong he was. . .
