The front door closed and El called out to Will. ''Will! Can you come down here please? I want to talk to you!'' Will raced down the stairs and met El in the kitchen. ''Yeah, El?'' Will said. ''So ,uh, I broke up with Mike this morning.'' Will stared at El. ''You did what?'' Will asked.
''Yeah. I broke up with him.'' El said as if it didn't matter. ''B-but why? Why did you break up with him?'' Will asked. ''Will. I'm not stupid, it's so obvious that you like him!'' El exclaimed. ''It's that obvious?'' Will asked again. ''Well, no. Not that obvious because Mike doesn't know you like him back and-'' El put her hand to her mouth dramatically. ''El, what do you mean by 'liking him back' ?'' Will asked his sister.
'' Uh, well. So you see, uh, Mike might actually like you?'' El said. Will was shocked into silence. Mike, his bestfriend and crush, liking him back? It was a dream come true. But then it also wasn't. He should be happy that Mike likes him! So, why does he feel it's not enough knowing? ''Wait so, is that the reason why you broke up with Mike? Because you found out that he likes me?'' Will questioned El.
'' Well, to be truthful, that's not the only reason why I broke up with him,'' El confessed, slightly blushing. ''Alright. So what was the other reason?'' Will asked, smiling. ''I am dating Max,'' El confessed. ''Oh My God! Are you actually?'' Will asked, excitedly. El smiled and nodded. ''I'm so happy for you El!'' Will exclaimed as he went to give El a big hug.
El hugged him back. ''I love you, big brother.'' El said. Will smiled and said, ''I love you too, little sister.''

Will was up in his room when he got a text from Mike.
Mike: Hey Will, uh, is red rose still your favorite flower?
Will: Yeah it still is. Why?
Mike: Oh! I'm just wondering thats all.
Will: That's*
Mike: Do you always have to correct me?
Will: Do you always have to make spelling mistakes?
Mike: Damn okay Byers. Guess I won't be seeing you today later with the party then.
Will: No! Wait, Mike I was just jokinggg
Mike: Yeah I know. So was I. Anyway Cya Will!
Will: Bye Mike!
Will turned off his phone and stared at the ceiling, smiling to himself.
