《Chapter 3: The Sleepover》

The friend group decided to walk around Hawkins with Steve and Robin. They decided to go to StarCourt, where Steve and Robin used to work. Will was having the best time walking and laughing with his friends. What he didn't know was that Robin was watching him carefully. She saw that Will kept looking at Mike, how his face lit up a small bit whenever Mike talked. Will likes Mike doesn't he? she thought. Does he know that Mike has a girlfriend? she wondered.  I guess I'm not alone, she thought again began to smile .

They entered StarCourt and Will was awed at the sight of it. It was only built this year and Will had never seen it, so obviously he would be awed at the sight of a large mall in a small town in Indiana. His friends brought him to the ice-cream parlor where Steve and Robin used to  work. Once they got their ice-creams they sat down on the benches. They began to talk and laugh over their ice-creams.

Will accidently got some ice-cream on his shirt and Robin offered to show him where the bathroom is. Robin waited for Will outside the bathroom. Once he got out she decided to ask him outright. She brought him to the back of the building. Will looked confused.

''Why are we here?'' He asked her nervously. ''I know.'' She said, crossing her arms and looking at him. Will didn't know what she was talking about at first and then he got it. She knew that he liked Mike. ''How do you know..?'' Will asked her, leaning against the wall with his hands on his face. ''It's pretty obvious. Your face lights up whenever he speaks, you're always looking at him.'' Robin said, gently taking his hand from his face. ''So it's obvious? Does everyone know?'' Will questioned her. ''No, I wouldn't say so.'' Robin said. ''And.. and you're not alone. I like girls the way you like boys,'' Robin said lightly, but her heart was beating fast. Will looked up at her. ''Seriously?'' he asked. ''Yeah.'' Will smiled and so did Robin. ''Right then mini Byers, let's get back yeah?'' Robin said, as she opened the back door and Will followed behind her.

They went into to StarCourt but Steve, Dustin, Max, Lucas, El and Mike weren't there. ''One second. I'll text that dingus,'' Robin said taking out her phone to text Steve.

Robin: Where the hell are you dingus?

Steve: Outside. Where are you two?

Robin: Scoops Ahoy.

Steve: Ffs Robin. Hurry up we'll be expected home soon.

Robin: Alright alright, we're coming dingus.

Robin turned her phone off and began to walk to the entrance and Will followed her. They exited the building to see the party and Steve all waiting for them. Steve turned to Robin. ''For God's sake, Robin! What took you so long in that bathroom?'' Steve asked her. ''Nothing! I just talked to Will.'' Robin replied rolling her eyes. Will had joined his friends. ''So. Do you like StarCourt?'' Mike asked Will. ''Yeah! I love it!'' Will exclaimed and the party laughed and so did Will. 

Seeing, they were due home soon they all walked home with Robin and Steve behind them.

**TimeSkip**

The Party all finally arrived at the Wheeler's household. They  knocked on the door and Karen Wheeler opened it so they all could come in. The kids all trooped in the back garden. The sun was setting and it was a beautiful sight. Will rushed upstairs to get his sketchbook and pencil to draw this beautiful sight. Mike noticed this and began to smile. Will was so engrossed by drawing he didn't notice that Mike was behind him, watching him draw. Once Will finished, Mike spoke. ''That's really good Will!'' Poor Will got frightened. ''Jesus Mike! You scared me!'' Will exclaimed standing up. ''Sorry, Will.'' Mike laughed. ''It's fine. Just don't do that again,'' Will said. Mike smiled at him and Will melted into a puddle right then and there. Will smiled and walked away to put his sketchbook upstairs. As he put his sketchbook on Mike's desk, he noticed a book. He opened the first page and said,

This is the property of Mike Wheeler.

Do not touch.

It was written in Mike's handwriting. Is this what I think it is? Will thought. It's Mike's journal! he thought excitedly. Will wanted to read it so bad but he knew he shouldn't. Even so, he put the journal in his suitcase. He straightened  up and walked down the stairs and into the garden. Everyone was putting the chairs away. Will rushed over to help. It was about twenty minutes later when they finally finished. And then everybody said their farewells. Everyone trooped outside to say goodbye. The Party gave Will a hug and set off. Joyce was staying at Hoppers and Johnathan was staying at the Wheeler's with Will.

''Right!'' Karen said. ''Let's all get inside shall we?'' Mike, Johnathan, Nancy, Holly and Ted all trooped inside the house. Karen went to put Holly to bed and then walked down the stairs. Everyone watched the TV until it was eleven o'clock. Karen sent everyone to bed. As Nancy, Johnathan, Mike and Will walked upstairs Mike called out to Nancy, ''Don't do anything disgusting in your room, Nancy!'' Nancy turned around. ''Shut up Mike!'' Nancy called, slamming her bedroom door behind her. Mike smiled and led Will into his room and closed the door. Mike went to his closet and got changed. Will turned around and found his clothes and changed into them, hoping that Mike wasn't looking. Will turned around and looked at Mike who was fully changed. Will smiled and Mike smiled back. Will felt himself blushing.

In Silence, both boys climbed into the bed and turned over to their sides. ''Goodnight Will,'' Mike called out. ''Goodnight Mike,'' Will called back and immediately fell asleep.

At around two o'clock in the morning, Will was woken up by something draped around his waist. He looked down to see Mike's arm draped around his waist. Will turned into a  tomato. Will tried to push Mike's arm away but he couldn't. So he fell back to sleep with Mike's arm draped around him. He liked the touch of Mike's arm draped around him and he felt comfortable.
