Chapter Thirteen: Another Chance

NIALL POV

Today, I was probably going to be by myself again. I picked up the guitar and played a few chords. Ugh. This is so boring, I'm not in the mood right now, so I put the guitar away and sat huddled in my bed, looking out the window. Where is Zayn....

I hear knocking on the door. Who would be knocking at my door right now. I'm pretty sure everyone was busy today. Lazily, I dragged myself to the door and opened it slowly. "Hey Niall!" I heard someone say, before looking up at the face. It was Kyle. "Kyle! What are you doing here, I thought you had to somewhere to go." I said. "I did, but it turns out that my relatives were going to come next weekend, so I came back." He replied.

"Oh. Anyways, thank God you're here. I was beginning to think I was going to do nothing all weekend long." I complained. "So why did you come over?"

"I guess I was bored and thought I'd drop by, and since you said you didn't have anything to do, why don't we go somewhere today." He suggested smiling. I started to smile, "Okay, hold on." I went back to my bed and grabbed my phone. I put on the dragon necklace that Kyle gave me yesterday, and went back to the door. "Kay, let's go." I said. closing the door behind me. He saw what I wore, and smiled.

We walked towards the elevator and then he stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Do you want to take the stairs, since last time we took it, the elevator got stuck." He said. I shook my head and smiled. "It's fine. I mean like, we can't always take the stairs because of that reason." I said pushing the button.

"Alright." He said, and the elevator door opened. We stepped in and pushed ground floor. This time it made it without any trouble. We continued to walk around campus, talking about random stuff. "Hey, wanna go somewhere." Kyle asked. I didn't even think, and blurted, "Yeah! I want to go to the movies. There's a new movie out that I wanted to watch."

He chuckled at my response, and nodded. "Alrighty then. My car's parked just over there." He led us to the parking lot, and to the car. He started to drive, and in a few minutes, we arrived at AMC Theaters. "So what movie did you want to watch?" He asked me.

"I wanted to see 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2,' I watched the first one, and I loved it. Can't wait to see this one." I grinned. I was actually really excited. I'm glad that Kyle was able to stay for the weekend, or else I don't know what I would've done.

He came running back to me, with the tickets, and the movie was starting in twenty minutes. "Kyle, wanna get some popcorn and drinks." I asked. He nodded, and we walked over to the concession stand. A young man greeted me. "Hey, what can I get you." He asked. "Extra Large Popcorn, and two-" I looked at Kyle, and asked him what he wanted. I nodded, and returned to the worker. "and two medium cokes."

"Okay, just a second." He went to fill two cups up, and placed them on the counter. Afterwards, he filled up a large popcorn tub and came back over to us. "That'll be $17.50." I paid, and we grabbed our things and looked for our indicated film room.

"Hey, let's go sit over there." I whispered, pointing over to empty seats in the middle. We sat down, and started eating popcorn. I threw a popcorn into the air and caught it with my mouth. Kyle tried it, and failed miserably and I laughed at him. I told him to open his mouth, and I threw one in.

We laughed some more, and noticed people began to stare, so we returned to normal, and pretended like nothing happened. But we both were smiling and tried really hard to not burst out laughing. About ten minutes of playing around, the advertisements ended, and the movie began to play.

ZAYN POV

"Zayn, I want to eat some popcorn, can you go get some?" Perrie asked me, while the advertisements were playing on the screen before the movie started. I looked at my phone and saw that we had ten minutes left. I got up, and went out to the concession stand. I bought some popcorn and an ICEE.
