Third PERSON POV

ADARSH & RUDRANSH'S CONVERSATION

Adarsh sobbed into his elder brother's arms, his body shaking with raw emotions. Tears streamed down his face as he clutched Rudransh tightly.

"B-Bhai... you k-know... I also have a daughter... I am a father, Bhai..." he choked out, his voice barely above a whisper.

Rudransh stiffened at his words, his eyes widening in shock. "D-Daughter?" he repeated, his mind struggling to process what he had just heard.

Adarsh nodded, a small, tearful smile forming on his lips. "Y-Yes, Bhai... Voh meri aur Yashi ki ansh hai... humari Aashvi hai... meri Aashvi hai, Bhai," he whispered, his voice filled with love and longing.

Rudransh was speechless. His heart clenched at the thought that Shruti had never told him about his own niece. Regaining his composure, he gently cupped Adarsh's face, wiping away a few stray tears. "Tell me more about my niece, AD. I want to know everything," he said with a soft smile.

Adarsh's face lit up at the mere thought of Aashvi. "Bhai, she is so cute... she looks just like a mini version of me," he said, chuckling lightly through his tears. "But her behavior... it's so good, Bhai. She has Yashi's smile, and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Her laughter, her giggles... they are the best sounds in the world."

Rudransh's heart warmed at Adarsh's words. "I can't wait to meet my little angel," he murmured before his tone turned firm. "Now, enough of this. Eat your food, Adarsh."

Adarsh shook his head. "I'm not hungry, Bhai."

Rudransh sighed, his protective instincts kicking in. "Adarsh, I'm not asking. I'm telling you," he said sternly.

Adarsh hesitated before finally voicing the thought that had been haunting him. "Bhai... will Yashi ever forgive me?"

Rudransh exhaled deeply. "Adarsh, you have made a huge mistake-one that cannot be forgiven easily. You need to put in the effort to make things right. You have to make her feel safe again... bring back the old Yashi."

Adarsh nodded determinedly. "I will, Bhai... I will," he promised, wiping away his tears. "Thank you."

Rudransh smiled, patting his brother's head. "Good boy. Just remember, Shruti and I are always here for both of you."

A smirk slowly spread across Adarsh's face. "Bhai, don't you think you're getting too old these days?" he teased. "Why don't you and Shruti get married? I think Aashvi needs a sibling."

Rudransh's eyes widened before he punched Adarsh lightly in the stomach. "Chup chaap kha le, saale! Main jaa raha hoon," he huffed, getting up to leave.

Adarsh laughed. "Aww, Bhai, sharma gaye! Wah Bhai!"

Rudransh grabbed a pillow and threw it at Adarsh before storming out of the room.

As the door shut behind him, Adarsh's expression turned serious. His fingers clenched into fists as he whispered, "You are going to be only and only mine, Yashi Singh Oberoi."

NEXT MORNING

Vaishnavi hummed to herself as she walked towards Yashi's room, intending to wake her up. She needed toothpaste, and Yashi was the only one who had an extra. But the moment she touched Yashi's arm, her entire body froze.

Yashi's skin was burning hot.

Panic shot through her as she immediately called out, "GUYSSSSS! COME HERE!"

Within seconds, Riya, Samriddhi, and Shruti rushed into the room.

"What happened?" Riya asked, her face laced with concern.

"Why are you screaming like a banshee?" Samriddhi grumbled.

Vaishnavi turned to them, her voice trembling. "Yashi has a fever... and it's really high."

"What?!" Shruti gasped, rushing to check Yashi's temperature herself. The moment her palm touched Yashi's forehead, her eyes widened. It was worse than she had expected.

Without wasting a second, she pulled out her phone and sent a quick message to Rudransh.

[Message Sent to Rudransh: Yashi has a high fever. Can you arrange for a doctor?]

Her Phone Rang Almost Immediately.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Are you busy?" Rudransh's deep voice came from the other end.

Shruti rolled her eyes. "For you, I'm always free. But listen-Yashi's fever is really bad. Can you help?"

"Take her to Oberoi Hospital immediately," Rudransh instructed. "Adarsh will be there."

"Okay, got it. Bye."

AS SOON AS THE CALL ENDED,

Shruti turned back to Yashi, only to find her awake, staring at them in confusion.

"Get ready. We're going to the hospital," Shruti ordered.

"Why?" Yashi mumbled, her voice weak.

"To have dinner," Shruti deadpanned.

"Huh?"

Shruti exhaled sharply, her patience wearing thin. "You have a fever, Yashi. That's why. Now, stop asking stupid questions and get ready."

"I'm not going," Yashi protested.

Vaishnavi scoffed. "Tumse pooch kaun raha hai?"

"Areyyy-"

"Shut up and get ready. NOW," Shruti snapped.

Reluctantly, Yashi got dressed and sat in the car. But the moment they arrived at Oberoi Hospital, her heart skipped a beat.

She stared at the large building in shock. Why here? Of all places, why this hospital?

"Why are we here?" she asked, her voice laced with suspicion.

Samriddhi smirked. "Didn't know you also have memory loss problems."

Vaishnavi crossed her arms. "Tumhara tabiyat kharab tha... yaad aaya?"

"I know that," Yashi said, gritting her teeth. "But why this hospital?"

Shruti had had enough. "JUST SHUT UP, YASHI! WE ARE GOING TO THIS HOSPITAL, AND THAT'S FINAL."

Yashi sighed in defeat and followed them inside. At the reception, Shruti gave Yashi's details, and after a few minutes, a nurse called out her name.

Shruti stood up, ready to go with her, but the nurse stopped her. "Only the patient can go inside."

Yashi's heart pounded in her chest. She didn't want to go in. She didn't want to face this. But with everyone's eyes on her, she had no choice.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped forward and followed the nurse inside. Unaware of the storm waiting for her on the other side.
