"Dalia I really am sorry." Said Tracee.

Missy and Tracee forced themselves to come with me, but I wasn't in the mood to talk to them.

"You always take it too far Tracee." I said angrily.

"I know! I really didn't mean for this to happen I just wanted to fuck with you. I didn't know that was Kirks address." She explained.

"You still did it. You still fucking did it"! I said as my foot hit the gas even harder.

I arrived at the apartment complex and saw two heads of curly hair speaking.

They were laughing?

I slowly got out of the car, "Kirk"? I asked.

He looked up and waved, "Dalia? What are you doing here"? Kirk asked.

I didn't say anything as my eyes met Slash's. He winked at me and I wanted to glare at him but Kirk was watching me.

"Kirk." I started again.

He grabbed me by my hand and pulled me to the corner, "What the fuck"? He asked annoyed.

"Kirk I know." I started.

"What are you drunk"? Asked Kirk looking me up and down.

"Yes. And Tracee got mad at me and she called Slash not me." I replied.

Kirk rolled his eyes, "I really really don't like your friends." Kirk replied.

I nodded slowly, my head was still spinning, but I had to stay serious to prove that I was having a serious talk with Kirk.

"Like listen Dalia. They're not nice to you. Especially Tracee." Kirk said shaking his head.

"I am listening." I replied.

"Why'd Tracee call Slash"? He asked.

"Cause I told her she was annoying." I said stumbling over he words.

"This is ridiculous. Why would you drive over here when you're shitfaced"? He asked grabbing my arm to hold me up straight.

"Because I knew how badly this could end." I said frowning.

"Go home." Kirk said shaking his head.

"But you're mad at me." I started.

"I am Dalia. And there is nothing you can do right now that will change my mind. I'll see you tomorrow." He said walking away.

I stood there upset, biting my bottom lip. "Kirk! Wait"! I said chasing after him.

Kirk turned around, "Stop Dalia. Just leave." He said sticking his hand out to touch me.

I pushed his hand away, "I am leaving. Fuck you." I said rolling my eyes.

"What? Now you're mad"! He asked.

"Yeah. Go have fun with your friends. Tracee, Missy let's go. Get your ass in the car"! I shouted.

Kirk followed me to the car, "And why are you mad"? He asked.

"Cause you're a bitch." I said and started the car.

"Real mature Dalia." Kirk said angrily.

"You told me to leave. I'm leaving." I said.

"Then go." Kirk said in return.

I felt my mouth drop, "Excuse me"?

"I said Go"! He repeated himself.

I opened the car door and stepped out of the car, "You're not gonna talk to me like that." I said pointing my finger at him.

Kirk grabbed my hand and pulled me into a kiss. I kissed him back, my arms wrapping my around him.

I pulled away and smiled as I saw the silly smirk on his face.

"It's impossible to be mad at you." Kirk replied.

I laughed and kissed him one last time, "I'll see you tomorrow."

"I love you." Kirk said shutting the car door behind me.

"I love you too." I smiled.

With that, I drove home and went to bed. The other girls looked at me confused.

"Just like that"? Asked Missy.

"Like what"? I asked as I brushed my teeth.

"You just kiss and makeup"? Asked Tracee.

"It's stupid to be in a fight." I laughed.

"Yeah but you have to stand your ground." Started Missy.

"In a stupid argument"? I asked in disbelief.

"It's not stupid if you're right." Replied Tracee.

"I wasn't right. Anyways we need to go to sleep. It's been a long night." I said as we all walked into my room.

I fell asleep pretty fast, but woke up early.

The sun hadn't even risen yet, but I was wide awake.

I sat in bed for a couple of minutes taking in everything around me.

I made myself a cup of coffee and sat on the patio outside.

I held a cigarette to my lips and lit it. Letting the smoke warm me up because it was still kind of breezy outside.

It was nice every once in a while to let the thoughts take over for a little bit.

I wondered how Tara was going. I wondered what my dad was doing. What Julissa was doing. If any of them would be up this early?

And as I was sitting their and thinking, a thought hit me.

After I got my GED, I wanted to pursue a career. But college is expensive.

But I have 50,000.

Would it be wrong to use it though?

It just sitting there in the closet doing nothing.

It'd be for a good cause. Me.

Fuck. If I wanted it to be for a good cause that means I'd need to do something good for a job.

I couldn't just be lazy and choose some easy accounting job or something.

"Dalia"? Asked Missy.

I turned around and blew some smoke out, "Oh hey."

"What are you doing"? She asked walking outside.

"Just thinking." I replied.

"About"? She asked as she took a sip of my coffee.

"Nothing really." I replied looking back at the city.

"No really. What are you thinking about"? She asked.

I bit my lip, "I don't think I want to be a stripper anymore, Missy."

"Oh." She replied. "For like Miguel or uh in general"?

"In general. I just don't feel like I'm doing any good with that." I said sheepishly.

"That's understandable Dalia. But I wouldn't quit just yet. Not until you have another job." Replied Missy.

"No I know. I just. I don't know." I started.

"Hey. It's okay to now want a career where you're shaking your ass or tits for a man." Laughed Missy

I laughed with her.

"But you have to promise you will still be friends with me even when you leave." Missy replied.

"Of course I will." I said hugging her.

A couple more hours passed and eventually the girls went home.

I climbed back under the covers and dozed off again.

I didn't even hear when Kirk got home and came into the bedroom. I didn't hear when he went to the restroom.

What I did hear was.

"Babe? Why are there three positive pregnancy tests in the bathroom"?! Asked Kirk.
