Neon lights flickered across the whole place, casting vibrant colors on a huge crowd of strangers. The whole scene was a whirlwind of bright and bold colors.

It smelled like weed and very strong alcohol. Smoke was everywhere and I felt old for not liking this at all.

I looked over at Kirk who looked back at me. I give him a small smile and he leaned into me.

"Let's get some drinks." I suggested.

"Yes please." Kirk said as he followed behind me to the bar.

I looked over in the corner and saw James. I gave him a dirty look as I sipped on a martini.

Kirk approached James and Lars and I followed behind him.

"Kirk, you're looking better." Said Lars.

Kirk smiled, "Thank you."

"How have you been Dalia"? Asked James.

"Fine." I said as I looked away, "And you"? I asked dryly.

"What's with you"? James asked.

I looked back at him and rolled my eyes, "Where's Julissa"? I asked.

"She's coming later, she was out with some of her friends." James replied.

"Hmm. Perfect time for you to be alone with Stassie." I replied.

Lars chuckled, "You're mad about Stassie kissing James"? He scoffed.

"What does Julissa think of that"? Asked Kirk.

"I didn't tell her. You think I want to piss her off, no thank you." James replied as he took a swig of his beer.

"Ah got it. So you can laugh about it with the boys and keep it a secret from your girlfriend"? I said, raising a brow.

Kirk rubbed up against my arm, motioning for me to stop.

"Okay Dalia. Sorry I don't like your friend. Sorry I don't want to cheat on your other friend." James said looking down at me.

"You know what I meant. You're enjoying the idea that Stassie likes you because it boosts your ego." I said rolling my eyes.

"Wouldn't it boost yours"? James asked with a smirk. "Or do you still think you're better than everyone else to display any of those emotions." He added.

Kirk shook his head, "Alright we're not doing that. Dalia don't talk to James like that. And James don't to my fucking girlfriend like that ever again."

James crossed his arms, "Fine. My apologies Dalia."

"Sorry James." I said dryly.

I saw Jason standing alone in a corner and I found my escape from this stupid conversation.

"I thought this was a PR party. Why don't y'all go get interviewed or something? I'll see you later." I said as I walked off.

Jason saw me approaching him and he turned around. Avoiding me?!

I almost gasped out loud.

"You cunt. What did I do to you"? I whisper yelled as I spun him back around.

Jason smirked, "It was a joke. Glad to see you and Kirk together." He replied.

I smirked, "You're an ass. And I'm glad too."

Jason held a cigarette to his lips and looked over at me, "You seem annoyed."

"Not annoyed. Frustrated." I said as I looked back at Jason.
