"I just wish I didn't let down my parents in the end." Jupiter says as he and the group grabs their stuff off a table on the porch after watching the video at Caroline's house.
"No you didn't. You still solved the case." Peter says as he, Alexis, and Bob follow Jupiter off the porch.
"No I didn't. I let Hugenay get away with the diamond machine." Jupiter says.
"You know Jupiter I studied that sketch in the notebook. Somehow I don't think that machine's gonna work too well without the induction tube." Bob says as he reveals having the tube.
"So you're finally getting out of my hair? Don't hurry back." The sheriff says as he and Caroline come over before Peter begins to get in the car.
"Jupiter catch." Bob says as he tosses Jupiter the tube before Jupiter walks with Alexis a little ways from the car.
"So how's your arm doing?" Jupiter asks as he gestures to Alexis's bandaged arm.
"Better. Still hurts a little but no permanent damage if that's what you're asking. Just sore." Alexis says as she smiles slightly at Jupiter.
"I'm glad you're alright. I don't know what I would do without you." Jupiter says as Alexis looks at him suspiciously.
"You're trying to butter me up to forget what you said aren't you." Alexis asks as she smiles.
"Is it working?" Jupiter asks as he smiles.
"A bit but you aren't getting off that easily Jupiter Jones. I do expect a nice quiet evening together when we get back home without a case being involved as an apology. But don't ever talk to me that way again." Alexis says as she kisses Jupiter causing him to smile shyly.
"I won't. Promise. Besides I would be an idiot to lose the most important thing in my life. But I do got something for you." Jupiter says as Alexis looks at him curiously.
"Do you now?" Alexis asks.
"Yeah. Close your eyes and hold your hand out." Jupiter says as Alexis closes her eyes and holds out her hand before she feels Jupiter put something on her finger before she opens her eyes and sees a silver ring on her finger.
"Jupiter. It's beautiful. Thank you." Alexis says as she smiles.
"It's a promise ring. I wanted to get something for our one year anniversary. I hope we stay together because I want to marry you one day. If you think you can put up with me?" Jupiter asks as Alexis hugs him.
"You might be a pain in the butt sometimes Jupiter but I'm not going anywhere." Alexis says.
"Glad to hear it." Jupiter says as he and Alexis get in the car with Bob before leaving.
*Timeskip*
"Bob I told you no soda in headquarters." Peter says as he puts the soda bottle in the trash as the group are in their headquarters after being back for a couple days.
"I don't know how you're even drinking that stuff from the smell of it." Alexis says grossed out as she is doing some sketches while sitting next to Jupiter.
"So the file on secret of terror castle is closed." Bob says as he puts the file in the cabinet.
"And once again the four investigators have proven that there are no such things as ghosts." Jupiter says before the group hear a banging noise as they go over to the entrance of the headquarters.
"What was that?" Alexis asks as the group look towards the entrance to their headquarters before seeing Caroline pops out of the entrance.
"Guess what? My mom lives in Rocky Beach." Caroline says as Bob and Peter smile while Alexis looks surprised to see her and Jupiter shakes his head.
"Maybe not ghosts but there are such a thing as surprise guests." Alexis says as she helps Caroline in the rest of the way.
*13 Years Timeskip*
Many years have passed and the group has now grown up and have got families of their own. Alexis and Jupiter married and had one boy named Parker and one girl named Violet while Peter and Bob married and both had a girl. The group is now headed on their way to Rio back to Alexis's home to investigate some strange happenings with an animal reserve.
"So where is it we're headed Bob? It's been a good while since I was here." Alexis says as she is driving her van while Bob is looking at the map.
"A place called We Heart For Mother Nature. It is just outside of the town. We're not all that far from it actually." Bob says.
"Got it." Alexis says as Peter sticks his head up beside Alexis and Bob.
"Do you guys think our kids will be okay? I mean we haven't ever been this far away from them." Peter says worriedly.
"I'm sure they'll be okay Pete. Besides Jupe and I miss our kids too. They'll be okay. They're in the hands of your wife's after all." Alexis says.
"Yeah just one problem with that." Bob says as Jupiter looks at him.
"What's that?" Jupiter asks.
"Did your kids end up with Alexis's abilities? I don't want my wife to freak if something happens." Bob says worriedly.
"Yes but Parker and Violet both know to keep their abilities under lock and key when Alexis and I are not with them. It'll be fine. At most we'll be gone a week." Jupiter says.
"Yeah. Unless we get into any trouble. Then we may be gone longer." Peter says.
"Just like old times huh boys? I remember meeting you guys in the woods of my home. One of the days in my life I wouldn't change for anything." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Us too. Apart from meeting that big cat Jupinero... We could of done without that." Peter says.
"Danger is just one of the normal every case things in the lives of the four investigators." Bob says.
"Not wrong there. But least we got each other's backs no matter what." Alexis says as she spots the animal reserve in the distance and stops the van near by.
"We're here. Well guys let's get going." Jupiter says as the group gets out of Alexis's van and begins to walk towards the animal reserve.
