"Young lady. I believe you have something similar to this." Miss Wilbur says as she comes over with a couple people while holding her dog before giving Chris a necklace as Chris takes it and it matches up to her own necklace.
"They fit together perfectly." Chris says as she smiles at miss Wilbur.
"We're cousins." Miss Wilbur says as she smiles.
"What?" Chris asks in shock.
"Yes. It's true. Bob's done his research." Miss Wilbur says as she hugs Chris while Bob and Alexis smile.
"Pete. You dropped this. I had to reschedule your flight for today but it was worth it. I'm proud of you. The four investigators did a great job." Mr. Crenshaw says as he has Alexis and the boys follow him away from the others before handing Peter his plane ticket.
"Thanks dad." Peter says as he smiles.
"Now go get ready. We need to be leaving soon to catch the flight." Mr. Crenshaw says as the group leaves to pack their stuff.
*Timeskip*
"I guess this is goodbye." Jupiter says as the group goes over to Chris after they put their stuff in the car.
"Yeah. Good bye Alexis. Good bye Bob. Good bye Pete. And Jupiter I think we should preserve a correct client relationship. Don't you?" Chris asks as she hugs everyone but Jupiter before holding her hand out for him to shake.
"Actually I was hoping to talk to you about something before I left. Do you mind?" Jupiter asks as he walks away from the others and talks with Chris before looking at Alexis and hugging.
"How come you two looked at me for?" Alexis asks curiously as Jupiter walks over.
"Oh um she was just glad to see that we'll have someone to watch out for us." Jupiter says as Alexis looks at him curiously.
"Really?" Alexis asks as Jupiter nods.
"Yeah." Jupiter says.
"Well she doesn't have to worry. I'd never let anything happen to you guys while I'm around." Alexis says as Chris walks over.
"Come on kids. Time to go. Bob don't tell your mom." Mr. Crenshaw says as he pulls up in a car while the group gets in as they begin to drive off.
"Good bye four investigators!" Chris shouts as the group wave to her.
*Timeskip*
"Hey Jupe." Peter says as the group finds Jupiter in their headquarters a day after arriving back home.
"Wondering where you got off to." Alexis says as the group sees Jupiter is looking at something at his desk.
"What are you figuring out Jupiter?" Bob asks.
"The number of jelly beans that can fit in the Empire State building." Jupiter says as he doesn't look up.
"Glad you're not wasting your time." Peter says.
"It's magazine competition. prize is a golden rolls rice complete with a chauffeur for a month." Jupiter says as he looks up while Peter goes over to him in his chair.
"It's never gonna happen." Peter says as Jupiter looks back down.
"Time to file away the mystery of Skeleton Island." Bob says as he gets up to put the file in the cabinet.
"So Alexis did you enjoy the paragliding? You never did say what you thought of it." Peter asks as Alexis looks at him.
"You don't wanna know what I was thinking by the time we landed. But to put it simply next time you wanna be stupid brave like that leave me out of it. Next time I'll walk." Alexis says annoyedly as she puts some books up.
"I thought you liked a little adventure?" Peter asks as he smiles.
"Oh haha. Very funny." Alexis says unamused as Peter laughs slightly causing Alexis to playfully roll her eyes at him.
"And we can cross Victor Hugenay off our to do list as well." Bob says.
"Perhaps." Jupiter says as he picks up a picture before Peter has him put it down.
"Great! Got two weeks of vacation left. Let's hit the beach." Peter says as Jupiter looks at him while Bob and Alexis come over to them.
"Actually... I have heard of this mystery haunted house not far from here." Jupiter says as he smiles.
"Oh no!" Alexis, Bob, and Peter say in union.
*Timeskip*
Late at night after Alexis is in bed she soon hears something hitting her window and gets up to see Jupiter standing outside in her yard before quietly going down stairs and outside.
"Jupiter what are you doing out here? It's late. Do your aunt and uncle know you're out here?" Alexis asks as she walks over to Jupiter.
"I left them a note in case they found me gone. But I just wanted to see if you were sleeping may better?" Jupiter asks as Alexis smiles.
"I'm sleeping a lot better actually. Thanks to talking with you that night." Alexis says happily.
"I'm glad I was able to help. I know you would of done the same for me." Jupiter says happily.
"I would. Was coming out here this late at night to check on how I was sleeping your only reason?" Alexis asks.
"Yeah um just wanted to make sure you were better. Was gonna talk with you more if you weren't. Thought it might help." Jupiter says sheepishly.
"Come on now Jupiter Jones. I know you better than that. I can tell when your mind is thinking about something. You always get this amazing look in your eyes when you do. Why did you really come out here?" Alexis asks as she looks at Jupiter curiously as he chuckles slightly and smiles.
"I guess you got me. You always did pay attention to detail and people's behavior. One of the things I really love about you. If I tell you why I really came out here do you promise to keep an open mind and not let it effect our friendship or as investigators?" Jupiter asks nervously as Alexis nods.
"I promise Jupiter. I wouldn't ever let anything come between me and my pack mates. I don't intend to lose you guys now for anything. Just tell me what you need to say." Alexis says as Jupiter let's out a breath.
"Okay. Well do you remember back when Chris and I looked over at you when we were talking before we left to come back home?" Jupiter asks as Alexis looks at him curiously.
"Yes. Why?" Alexis asks.
"I was actually telling her that I liked you. I think I always have. You've always interested me no matter what it was. But I didn't really think much on it and realize I liked you until recently when we kissed. I'm not exactly experienced with girls so it's why I didn't notice it until recently. I just wanted advice from another girl before I told you. She told me to tell you how I felt and be honest. I was just nervous to tell you because I didn't know how you would react. But if you would allow it I would really like for you to be my girlfriend. Just know that I am kind of new to dating so-" Jupiter then gets cut of as Alexis kisses him before pulling away as he blushes.
"Stop talking Jupe. My answer is yes. I've liked you for a couple months now but I just didn't know how to say it without worrying over what would happen if I did. I don't care if you don't know much about dating. I'm happy with the Jupiter Jones that I have come to know as my best friend and now as my boyfriend. You don't need to change anything just for me. I don't want you to." Alexis says as she smiles.
"I'm happy with the way you are too." Jupiter says as he smiles as he then kisses Alexis before pulling away.
"You should probably get back before your aunt and uncle find you gone. I don't want them to worry and you get in trouble." Alexis says.
"They'll be fine. I mean I've snuck out before. Long as I leave a note where I'm going they don't care long as I'm back sometime the next day. I left it because I was gonna see if you would like that I stay with you for the night. If your aunt doesn't mind." Jupiter says.
"She won't. Shes used to you boys by now sneaking in and out of the house for whatever reason. But yes I'd like that very much." Alexis says as she then leads Jupiter inside and up to her room before laying next him on her bed with her head on his shoulder as the two fall asleep.
