When I woke up I was still in a hospital bed. Mattheo was still asleep next to me and I started thinking about everything that happened, while watching him sleep. 'You know it's rude to stare, right?' Mattheo said half asleep. 'How did you know I was awake?' 'Your mind is very loud.' I must still be weak enough to not be able to hide my thoughts from Mattheo. 'I'm sorry, babe.' 'It's okay.' Mattheo had opened his eyes now and gave me a soft kiss. 'How are you feeling, love?' He asked me. 'I'm okay. But, how are you doing, Mattheo?' I didn't care about my own well-being, I only cared about his. He was hit by the Cruciatus Curse and his father had died in front of his eyes. 'I'm not the one who almost died.' Mattheo said with something that should've been a smile, but was more sadness than happiness. 'I survived, didn't I?' I said with a smile on my face trying to lighten the mood. 'Y/N, love, you were asleep for four days. They weren't even sure you would wake up again. I almost lost you.' Four days? I was asleep for four days? Oh my god. Okay, relax. You're awake now and you're fine. 'But, you didn't Mattheo. I'm fine and I'll be as good as new in no time.' I pulled Mattheo closer to me and gave him a hug.

I wanted to start about his father's death to him, but before I could, Theo, Pansy, Blaise and Draco entered the room. Pansy ran up to me and gave me a hug that almost made Mattheo fall out of the bed. 'Oh my god, Y/N! Don't ever do something like that again! You scared the shit out of me! I thought we lost you! And what would I do without my best friend?' 'Learn to go to the library.' I heard Theo snicker at my response, but Pansy only got mad at me. 'Don't joke about it, Y/N!' I raised my hands in defeat. 'Sorry. Just like I told Mattheo, I'm fine. Really. Now, tell me. What did I miss the last couple of days?' Pansy sat down on the edge of the bed and Mattheo tried to get off of it, but I pulled him back. We both had to go through four days without cuddles, so we could use as many as we could get. Mattheo adjusted his seating so I could lean against him, while listening to Pansy. She caught me up on all the drama that had been going on around school, including the rumours about what might have happened to me. It ranged from me falling of a dragon to me having food poisoning. No one had guessed correctly yet, according to Pansy, so that was a plus. I didn't want it to go around school that I had murdered Voldemort. After Pansy finished her whole monologue, everyone started to just chitchat with eachother. Eventhough I had slept for four days I was still tired, so while everyone was talking, I slowly fell asleep against Mattheo. I heard him whisper; 'Good night, love', before completely falling asleep.

Once I woke up, everyone had gone away and it was just me and Mattheo again. 'Good morning, love.' 'Good morning, babe.' 'Did you sleep okay?' 'I slept wonderful. I had this really nice pillow, which I'm definitely going to use more often.' I was hinting at Mattheo who had stayed underneath me for the complete duration of my nap. 'I wouldn't wish any different.' Mattheo said while bowing his head down to give me a kiss on the top of my head. Only I turned my head in a way, that he wasn't able to do that and so he had to kiss me on the lips instead. He gave me kiss and leaned a bit back. 'That was sneaky, love.' 'I don't know what you're talking about.' I gave a small smile and I could feel his smile as well, once he leaned in for another kiss. Our second kiss, got interupted quite quickly when Madam Pomfrey entered the room. 'Excuse me, miss Y/N.' Madam Pomfrey announced. Mattheo and I pulled away from eachother as fast as we could and turned our heads towards Madam Pomfrey. 'How are you feeling today? Feeling good again?' 'Yes, I feel absolutely fine. Just a bit tired still.' 'That's normal. Whatever you did took a whole lot of your energy, so you're going to be tired for the next couple of days, but after that you should be the old you again. So, that also means that you're free to go. You can go back to your dormroom.' 'Oh thank you, Madam Pomfrey.' 'Any time, sweetheart. Now, you just need to take it slow the next few days and if anything feels off, just come back to me and I'll see what I can do.' 'Will do.' Madam Pomfrey left the room again and I turned my head towards Mattheo again. 'Did you hear that? I'm free to leave. So, let's go, because if you thought my thoughts were loud, your thoughts about wanting to finish what we just started are louder.
