"I'll send over the patented paperwork and copywriting information." Alaia said before hanging up the phone.

It was actually the first time in the last two weeks that she had actually talked on the phone, to anyone outside of Chosen and the kids.

Alaia finished typing up her email and rolled over in bed.

She didn't have much motivation these days.

It was 7 in the morning and Chosen hadn't been home all night.

That had become his thing at least three nights out of the week for the last week.

This was simply because the last few weeks things had actually been off between them. It was hard because they lost their baby and neither of them knew how to deal. Instead of talking it out Alaia would rather lash out or keep quiet and Chosen based on Alaia's mood would rather be gone.

He didn't want to be but it was at her request so he only stayed out and kept himself busy as a distraction.

Alaia lay in bed and silently cried.

She knew that Teana only meant well but she hadn't been up to seeing her.

Alaia didn't want to admit that she was jealous the last time she saw her.

Teana and Eli had shown up at the house after they made it back from the trip. Teana just wanted to console Alaia after finding out about her loss but her small bump only made her feel like everything that happened was all Alaia's fault or at least that was how she felt. All though the doctors couldn't pinpoint a reason exactly Alaia had deduced it down to it all being her fault.

'Call me' Teana's voice came through a voice message.

Alaia sat her phone down not really responding to anyone, even her mother.

She didn't want to tell anyone for a reason and it seems as if it was all useless, especially with all the condolences they received.

Chosen to Eli and from there he told Teana and Alaia was sure if it wasn't her it was her mother as she sighed.

Alaia heard the room door open and was sure it wasn't the twins so she just continued to lie there.

"You up?" Chosen asked as he walked into the room.

Alaia didn't even bother looking at him.

She could smell smoke on him and assumed by the mix of whatever else was on him that he had gone out, if it was the club it was definitely the strip club.

Alaia rolled over turning her back towards him.

"So you still ignorin me?" He asked as he walked to the other side of the bed and she remained stoic.

He had become used to her just laying there but tonight he was over it.

He had been out seen everyone else having fun but him and without her being happy he didn't want to be, Chosen just wanted to fix it, if he could.

"I didn't know we were talking." She said.

Alaia looked miserable.

Her hair was everywhere and she was in a baggy T-shirt.

"Alaia chill out." He said reaching for her and she rolled over.

Chosen sucked his teeth.

"Why yo ass bein like this?" He said and she didn't move.

"Chosen you been ignoring me for the last two weeks." She said to him and it was quiet.

"Go back to doing whatever you was, the club, the smoking, the drinking." She said and her voice was monotone.
