Chosen Love

Little things.

"I wanna know what is the earliest you can safely have twins?" Alaia asked and Chosen nudged her.

They were always talking about waiting until the twins wanted to come, even doing a home birth but at his point, Alaia was over it. Her pregnancy seemed to be running longer and longer even though it was near the end. Now she was always uncomfortable.

The home birth idea went out the window with Teana's birth and as much as Chosen tried to convince her she ignored him. She was currently 30 weeks pregnant and constantly on the move since she refused to sit at home. Her ankles were swollen and she was extremely uncomfortable whenever she tried to sit still.

No matter what Chosen did to help, she seemed to be miserable even though she tried to keep a positive attitude she had her days.

"What?" She shot him a look as if she could kill him.

"It is a good question." The doctor reassured her.

"Normally, 36-39 weeks, twins as early as 32 weeks but that is an emergency situation only." He said and Alaia rolled her eyes.

The twins were healthy and although it was a good thing she was drained.

Her hair was as lifeless as her face.

The rest of their appointment she had zoned out sad at the idea of being pregnant for any longer.

Chosen could tell she was miserable do the entire ride home he remained silent.

"You want some food?" He asked and she nodded.

"Some ice cream?" He added and she nodded once more.

Chosen smirked but didn't dare to laugh.

"Aye I know you over it but soon." He said and she nodded.

"Has Eli made any decisions?" she asked and he nodded.

"We had to get two people in state since I wanna make sure they are good when we off. Eli don't know shit so ima be doing the training starting  next week." He said and she nodded.

"I can come help-" She started and he shook his head.

"I love you, and I say this cause I love you but you going make them quit." He said and they both laughed.

"Man, you don't love me." She joked and he looked at her.

"Wheew I had to see if you were serious or not." He said and she flicked him off.

"Yea as soon as we get home too." He winked and she gave him a sour face.

Normally sex was something she was always up for even when she acted as if she wasnt.

"Oh na. We defintely gotta get them babies out you." He smiled and Alaia refused to smile.

He chuckled.

"You know what the doctor said that makes them come sooner." He teased and she finally let off a smile.

"Chosen, I'm a thousand times bigger than yesterday." She said sadly as she waddled down the hall.

He grabbed her hand and leaned into to her.

"You not and you still fine." He said and she finally let out a light chuckle.

"I just feel miserable and I'm sorry-" She paused and he had told her to stop apologizing.

He saw how enduring this pregnancy was and since it was ending soon just not soon enough for her he didnt want her to feel bad about it. She was carrying his kids. He knew she had her moments but those moments turned to days and he didnt want that for her.
