"Man stop bein do judgey wit yo mean ass. Its always somethin wit you. Tha nigga came to drop off a gift." Chosen said. 

Alaia looked out the window watching Murder pull off before turning to Chosen. 

"I know it's something yawl not tellin me." She said looking at Chosen. 

"Don't be fuckin lyin to me. "She said pointing her finger up at him and he couldn't help but chuckle. 

"Man chill out wit yo paranoid ass. You know a nigga been up under you and all these kids for like 3 months now." He said and she rolled her eyes. 

"2 and a half." She corrected him. 

"Well, I'm here consistently. I been told you his ass was going to stop by and you stay actin like the police." He looked at her and saw the redness on her face. 

Chosen regretted the words the moment they left his mouth.

He had forgotten how sensitive Alaia was lately, about really everything.

Not even a moment later she burst into tears. 

The last thing Chosen expected was postpartum to hit her as hard as it was. 

She stormed off to their room and took a moment to choose his words carefully.

Chosen let out a deep breath before he followed her into the room. The twins and Chloe were lying next to her per usual. He took a seat on the bed and she didn't bother to move over for him. 

"I'm sorry." He said and she lay there with her back turned from him. 

"Chosen I just feel like its something is wrong. Maybe its me." She said turning over. 

He grabbed her face.

"Man chill. Nothin is wrong wit you. You just had babies. Not one but two." He said kissing her forehead. 

"Yo ass just stingy wit me but its coo I don't need no friends." He said shrugging his shoulders with a straight face and she started laughing. 

He liked the fact that no matter what he could still seem to make her smile.

"Chosen shut up cause you going to make me feel bad."  She said with tears still in her eyes. 

"Man don't. I don't need no friends." He repeated and she laughed.

"Im fa real, Eli don't count cause that's bro." He said 

"Chosen shut up." She said finally smiling. 

"I mean just let me know cause they been ready to take all our kids." Chosen said and she laughed but knew it was true. 

India always stopped by to check on them. As for Eli and Teana, they would get Chloe every now and then but Alaia had refused to leave the twins alone. Chosen never really understood her paranoia but left it alone and just helped out. They were a team but most importantly, she was his other half.

"We got this and if you wanna live in my skin so be it." He said and she rolled her eyes.

"You practically need me too." She teased with half of a smile. 

"Well you know you ain't gotta hop back into school next semester?" He said and she nodded. 

"But I don't want to get off track. Remember." She said and he nodded. 

"Well so be it." He said and she smiled. 

"Whatever you say Queen." He said and she really had to admit with Chosen things were just that easy.
