Their steps were loud. But they were being careful. At least they tried to.

Minhyung: Don't make a single noise-

But before he could even finish a scream escaped Seolmi's lips. And it had caught enough zombies' attention.

Minhyung: Aish- RUN!

The eleven of them started running to the street the market was at. But they came to a screeching halt when they saw many zombies luring at the front of it. 

They all turned to run back, maybe try to get to Chenle's house. 

But the entrance of the ally was blocked by the zombies chasing them.

Donghyuck: We're so fucking dead.

Renjun: Or... we could make a distraction.

Dayeon: What kind? 

There was silence which had no suggestions. 

Dayeon: Well think fast.

A screech from the zombies had alerted them about all of them zeroed in on the students. 

Jisung: We're done for. 

Just as he said so Seolmi caught sight of Jaemin picking up a stone. The next second he threw it right at the building next to them, the stone crashing into a window. Like a pack of meercats the entire herd of Zombies turned to the source of the sound, running after it. 

The second an opening was seen the lot of students ran through the gap, throwing the door of the mart open and pouring in.

Jeno and Minhyung did the closing and locking up of the doors with some chains they found on the side while the rest caught their breaths. 

Renjun: What if there were people there?

Jisung: Where? What are you talking about?

But Renjun kept glaring at Jaemin.

Jaemin: he's talking about the house i threw the stone into. And... i don't know... i just did whatever i could think of. 

Renjun: You could have cost innocent lives.

Jaemin: And lost ours? 

Renjun: That is not an excuse!

Jaemin: Listen to me you fucking nerd. I don't care if i did attract the zombies to a family. This is an apocalypse and being selfish is the only way to survive right now. If you are soo worried why don't you go check up on the family.

With that Jaemin turned away and walked away to the other side of the shop. Renjun too, still drowned in anger, turned the other way, walking away as well.

The others shared looks but said nothing further. They were thankful to Jaemin but even Renjun was right. But Seolmi thought Jaemin was right with being selfish. If not... they really wouldn't survive.
