Jeno was honestly super glad that when he fell the other zombies were so busy eating another one that they didn't hear him. But as he lay there, he was sure the pain was killing him slowly. He would much rather have been torn apart in one go.

Jeno: Fuck.

He cursed the second he tried to move. The pain had immensely increased. And he was slowly losing hope on whether the others would come or not... maybe they already gave up on him.

Unbeknownst to Jeno, Donghyuck and Jiseon were still on the same floor staring down the staircase at their end where by the corner a zombie stood, continuously bumping its head to the wall.

Donghyuck and Jiseon looked at each other before taking a deep breath. Though none of them moved until Donghyuck waved his hand to her and mouthed a few words.

Donghyuck: Ladies first.

Shaking her head she decided to take the first step down, thankfully while not making any noise. As she took another step she felt a hand grab her wrist and she almost screamed while turning but saw that it was only Donghyuck. Face frowning, she gave him an angry look.

But he only muttered back and it slowly grew as an argument.

Donghyuck: I'm scared.

He hissed. 

The zombie downstairs froze making the two freeze as well when they didn't hear the constant knocking on the wall.

They looked down and saw the zombie slowly turning its head towards them.

The two were as still as a statue at they stood there waiting for the zombie to do something.

Maybe it was one minute or maybe ten minutes but it felt like an eternity until the Zombie turned back to hit its head on the wall.

Sighing quietly, the two shared a look and came to a quick decision of just getting out of there quickly.

They were very careful as they walked down and Donghyuck still had his fingers wrapped around Jiseon's wrist tightly.

Jiseon didn't really take much notice and mind since her mind had drifted off to Jeno, just wanting him safe.

Soon, they reached one floor down and saw that there were many more zombies there than on the floor they were.

But they managed to pass that floor too and they managed to get to the ground floor without any man eating zombies eating them.

They peeked through the corner and were startled when there was a zombie right there, in front of the class they needed to check.

Donghyuck: Now what?

He said whispering into her ear, only further startling her.

But thankfully she managed to not make any noise and for that she threw him a glare before looking back to the front.
