Msi Harisa Velleaga

"OH GOD." I whispered to myself while my hands kept on shaking while holding my phone. Nakatayo ako sa gilid ng kama ko at halos mapa-upo ulit ako roon nang makita ko ang kaniyang pangalan sa screen.

Kalirra: What do you want, Velleaga?

"Ano ba sasabihin ko?" Tanong ko ulit sa sarili.

I started typing.

Msi: You didn't tell me na Erreon's gonna play Flavio.

Kalirra: ?

Msi: What?

Kalirra: Why do I have to tell you that? Ikaw dapat ang umalam niyan.

Hindi ako naka-reply sa sinend niya. She's too straightforward!

Kalirra: That's your responsibility as a student, Velleaga.

Msi: I am sorry, naalala ko lang yung sinabi mo when we're in my pad. You told me to refuse a certain scene.

Kalirra: That day? It's still up to you if you're gonna do it or not.

Msi: I don't want it.

"Ayoko." Umiling iling pa ako.

Maya maya ay may kumatok sa pinto. Sa paraan niya ng pagkatok ay alam kong si Mui iyon.

I heard him cleared his throat. "Msi?"

"Yes, Mui?" Pasigaw kong sagot pabalik.

"Dinner time." He said in a very low voice. "Mommy cooked for tonight.."

Napangiti naman ako sa narinig, but I really have to respond to Professor Silvestre's messages first.

I badly wanted to have a conversation with her.

"Susunod nalang ako, Mui! I'll just finish something."

Natigilan naman siya. "Huh? But you never skipped family dinners."

"I won't skip it, Mui. Susunod ako, please? Wait lang."

"Alright, la sorella. Sunod ka agad. I'll wait." Aniya bago ko marinig ang mga yabag niyang papaalis.

I once again fixed my eyes on my phone.

Kalirra: Then, good. I'll discuss this with everyone who will participate in the play. 

Good? What does that mean?

Msi: Thank you, Bloprof.

Kalirra: That again? Tumigil ka na nga. Bye.

Msi: I'm just teasing you. Sorry.

Hindi siya nag seen.

Msi: Hey, Professor Silvestre?

Hindi pa rin.

Msi: I was just joking. Are you mad?

Kalirra: I am not.

Msi: Sorry.

Pero hindi niya pinansin ang mga sorry ko at iniba niya ang topic.

Kalirra: You're coming to school tomorrow?

Msi: Yes, pwede na daw :)

Kalirra: K.

"K?" Natatawang basa ko sa message niya.
