Msi Harisa Velleaga

"Msi! Over here!" It's Miss Kamira telling me to sit with them again. This isn't the first time, it always happen like twice or thrice a week.

I smiled and had no choice but to join them. She's with Professor Gallardo (Miss Sevyn Lunaris) and as usual, Professor Silvestre who's already glaring at me.

Hindi ko matawag si Miss Kamira by her surname since Miss Kamira and Miss Kali shares the same surname. Malilito lang sila, same goes to everyone.

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Professor Gallardo, she immediately gave me a genuine smile. I'm her favorite student that's why.

"How's my best student doing?" Mapag larong tanong nya sakin.

Nahihiya nalang ako na ngumiti at sumagot. "I'm doing fine, ma'am—"

"Best? Really, Lunaris?" Miss Kali asked. As usual with her poker face. "Best na ba—"

"You always have something to say bad about Miss Velleaga, 'no? And it's Sevyn, Kalirra. Not Lunaris."

"Whatever it's both your name.."

My kept my mouth shut. Sumubo nalang ako ng pagkain.

"Bakit ba mainit lagi ulo mo, my dear cousin?" Natatawang tanong ni Miss Kamira sa pinsan. She looked at me. "How do you enjoy her classes?"

Napatulala pa ako nung una but then I figured out what she's saying. "Oh.. Professor Silvestre isn't that terror in class, Miss Kamira. Mas naiintindihan ko nga po discussions nya more than anyone."

"No need to compliment my teaching just to be on my good side because that will never work—"

"I'm not, ma'am." I smiled. "I'm just saying the facts."

"Oh tigilan nyo na yan! Kalirra susuwagin mo na naman si Msi, tumigil ka nga." Pang aawat ni Miss Kamira.

Professor Silvestre groaned and rolled her eyes at me.

"Saksakan ka talaga ng katarayan—"

"Can you stop calling me names?"

"Opo, ma'am. Eto na nga po, oh!" Professor Gallardo sarcastically said. She looked at me after. "Wanna hang out next week, Msi?"

"U-Uhm.." is that even allowed? "I don't know, ma'am.."

"Why are you going to hang out with a student, Lunaris? You are getting yourself kicked out of this school." Mataray na singit ni Miss Kali.

Tumawa ng malakas si Professor Gallardo. "Oh please, Kali.. Msi won't do that to me kung makikipag hang out lang ako sakanya. You're the one who is most likely to get kicked out because of your attitude, Silvestre"

Mas lalong sumama ang muka ni Miss Kalirra.

Nanahimik nalang ako.

"What about in your place, Msi?" Singit ni Miss Kamira. "I heard you have a penthouse nearby."

"Heard from who, ma'am?" Nagtataka kong tanong. It's because no one even knows except from my family that I have one.
