Today both Melanie and I are joining Scarlett on set. It’s been pretty fun so far right no now Melanie and I are just hanging out. “So can I hear the song you just finished?” Melanie asks. “I don’t see why not. It’s called she’s an Actor

It’s beautiful I think it will make many people feel a little less alone.” She says. “Thanks Melanie.” I tell her. “Oh here I’ve kept it with me all these years I think it’s time you record and release it.” She says handing me the papers with the first song I ever wrote ‘Pretend my Pain Away’. “You kept this all these years?” I ask her shocked. “I knew that someday you would release music so I held on to it plus it’s the first song you ever wrote it’s special.” Melanie says. “Thank you so much Mama Sloan. I will you are right it’s time.” I tell her as we hug. “Let’s go mess with Scarlett.” I say as we pull away.

The rest of the day wasn’t that interesting but we had fun and that’s what matters. I still can’t believe that Melanie kept that song for all these years I can’t wait to record it. I decided to record it this weekend so Melanie can be here when I do.
