I wake up to see Aimie already wide awake and not so quietly moving around the dorm.

"Shit, what time is it?" I sleepily mumble to her.

" about half an hour until Care of Magical Creatures starts, but it's near the edge of the forest so you better get your ass out of bed and get ready before you make us late for our first class of the year." Aimie tells me.

No need to change at least, I go to the dresser and sit at the desk, putting some Concealer and mascara along with a clear lip gloss and tie my long curly hair into a bun and we make our way to Beasts Class. I would have enjoyed the class much more if it hadn't have been for malfoy provoking the hippogriff named Buckbeak. What an enchanting creature, he was absolutely magnificent. I felt a certain empathy towards Hagrid. His first lesson of his career and it resulted in the only student who could take it away getting injured. It was only a scratch but Draco has the tendency to exaggerate things.

"My father will hear about this!" He screams as clutches his arm with his other.

"Isn't your father tired of hearing about every single inconvenience you put yourself into?" I question. A humorous smile spreads on my face as I admire my own wit.

"Shut it Snape." He spits and I couldn't help but notice that Enzo has put a reassuring hand on my back.

"Come on mate, you don't get to talk to her like that." Enzo reasons and fortunately before he can come up with a comeback the blonde is swept off by Hagrid to the hospital wing and class is dismissed.

Next class was potions. I don't usually listen too much in potions with my father. Mainly because I know most of the curriculum anyway, thanks to my father. We are given back our assigment from the end of last year and I'm pleased to say I got an outstanding, could have sworn the old man nearly cracked a smile as he handed my essay back. It's about as much praise as I get from him really.

After a rather long dramatic lecture given by my father about the importance of potions and his disappointment in the classes results and incompetence. Class is dismissed and I am about to leave when I'm suddenly beckoned by my father.

"Selene, I am pleased with your efforts in my class, unfortunately not everyone is quite as capable as you are." He starts.

"Thanks Sir" I add,  suddenly feeling a level of pride as I take in the praise.

"I need you to help provide some tutoring to one of your peers. I'd warn you, they are failing miserably but as top of the class i expect you to be able to at least teach them enough to scrape a pass. Shall they fail, I will blame their failure solely on you. Is that clear?"

"Yes Sir, but who is it that I have to tutor?" I question. I don't particularly want to have to tutor anyone but my fathers words are final. I have no choice really.

"Hi there." The unmistakable voice of Enzo speaks up. I didn't even know he was still here. I could have sworn Enzo was relatively good at potions. I raise my eyebrow quizzically at him but he just smiles at me and I lose all train of thought.

"Great, you are both dismissed. I will be monitoring your progress greatly Mr Berkshire." My father concludes and we walk out of the classroom and towards the common room.

"So, where and when should we do this tutoring thing then?" I ask, breaking the comfortable silence between us.

"Hmm, what about the astronomy tower? I'd say the common room but if Malfoy sees you tutoring me I'd never live it down. And I don't know, how does every Sunday sound?" He asks, while shrugging his shoulders.

"Okay, sure its a date" I reply without thinking and immediately regretting it. Feeling the familiar heat rush to my cheeks that occurs whenever I am around him lately.

Enzo just smirks "sure thing, love".
