6 years later
"Mum we're going to be late." Arabelle complains as we are getting ready to leave for platform 9 3/4, I can't believe that she has turned 11 over the summer, where has all this time gone.
"You can blame that on your brother's." Draco says as he makes his way over and places a hand on my back. It turns out that had been pregnant with twins, 2 beautiful boys Scorpius and Sebastian. They aren't identical, actually they're almost complete opposites of eachother.
"It wasn't me dad, it was him." Sebastian accuses Scorpius, we know better though. Sebastian looks much like me. Has the same black curly hair that both Arabelle and I have, with Draco's grey eyes and is incredibly outgoing, Scorpius on the other hand is the splitting image of his father. Same platinum blonde, hair but with my green eyes.
"Is that so Sebastian." I laugh, rolling my eyes and winking at Scorpius who smiles back at me.
"Can we go now?" Arabelle asks, and I nod and smile at her impatience. And we apparate to the platform. Because I had Arabelle so young, I have absolutely no idea who any of the parents are.
"Mum, I'm scared." She says as I pull her into a hug. I am too quite frankly, I haven't stepped foot in the school since the battle, and her being in the exact area her father had died mortifies me, but the war is over now, thanks to Lorenzo. Hogwarts is safe again.
"Arabelle, I'm sure you'll be absolutely brilliant here. Give it a few weeks and you'll absolutely love it. Me and Draco did and so did your father. Come on sweetie. You'll be back before you know it." I tell her, I haven't spent any time away from her since she stayed in Lorenzo's room, and I was only across the hall then. It breaks my heart to let her go. I try to stay strong though.
"I love you mum, I wish dad was here to see this." She says, wrapping her arms around me again when a breeze makes its way to our faces once again.
"He is baby." I tell her and pull away from the embrace slowly.
"I'm gonna miss you too Da- Draco." She corrects herself. This happens a lot, she accidentally calls Draco dad and it breaks my heart. She knows who her dad was obviously and she loves him, but he has become a father figure over the years, its natural.
"Miss you too, little one. Now you better go Ara, before all these parents see me blubbering. Remember to write to us whenever you can." He laughs.
She smiles and turns to make her way to the train and we watch as she takes the first few steps of her new life, with tears in my eyes. Both of pride and of anxiety.
We did good Enz, look at her.
She is about to acend the steps to the train when a boy with dark brown curly hair introduces himself to her, extending a hand for her to shake. I gasp, it's just like watching Lorenzo and I when we first met.
Suddenly the light breeze I'm so familiar with turns hard and I chuckle at it, he's not too pleased by the interaction I see.
Come on Enz, let her go love.
