I am beyond angry, I am furious. Its my baby's birthday today and no one other than Aimie and Blaise has shown up. Her own father didn't bother.

My baby girl is two today, she's grown up so much. Her black hair is now down to hair shoulders and she can walk, pretty much on her own now. I got her all ready for nothing, and she is having one hell of a tantrum.

"I want my daddy! I want Dray!" She screams at me, tears in her eyes.

The past few weeks have been terrible. Lorenzo barely shows up to see her anymore. Draco doesn't care and there is nothing I can do to make it better for her. I am failing her.

I put my hands on my head and let a few tears fall while Blaise puts a comforting arm around me.

"How about we go and get some ice cream. Would you like that Arabelle?" Aimie tries to reason with the 2 year old, but she's stubborn.

A letter soon arrives and I immediately recognise the handwriting.

Kassandra.

I can't apologise more for not turning up today. It was an emergency.

I'll come see Arabelle as soon as possible.

Although I'm still furious at him and nothing he can say will excuse his actions, I couldn't be more greatful for this letter.

"Look Ara, it's a letter from Daddy. He'll come see us later okay?" I say crouching down to her level. Why don't we go to Diagon Ally for some ice cream and wait for daddy?" I tell her and just like that, the tantrum is over and she is quick to wrap her arms around me again.

The four of us leave for Diagon Ally, Arabelle in her pushchair happily eating her ice cream, while we go into various shops, buying everything she sets her eyes on.

"Do you think he'll turn up this time?" Blaise whispers.

"He will have hell to pay if he doesn't. I dont think little madam here will have it." I state, the two laugh at the remark.

"He's not a bad father guys. He just...he still struggles sometimes that's all." I shrug. He really isn't, but he's young he has other things on his mind. I've come to expect it from him by now.

"Daddy!" Arabelle exclaims, trying to wiggle herself free of the constraints of the pushchair, I quickly unbuckle her and she runs into her dad's outstretched arms, nearly knocking him to the floor.

"Baby!" He says back, scooping her up and making his way back over to us.

"I'm so sorry Kassandra." He tells me and as always I immediately soften.

"It's alright Enz, you're here now." I tell him and he let's out a relieved sigh.

"Do you mind if I take her for a while? Have some Daddy daughter time? Would that be okay? I've got a room at the leaky Cauldron so we can meet back up there around 6?" He asks me.

"Alright. But me and you need to talk at somepoint Lorenzo." I tell him, although I'm elated that he showed up when it counted, I'm still furious at his lack of presence over the past few months.

I kiss Arabelle goodbye as she goes off with her daddy. Aimie, Blaise and I find a café and sit outside with our coffee's.

"No! Since when?" I exclaim mouth open as I stare back and forth between the two.

"Since this one grew the balls to ask me" She smiles to Blaise and they share a quick kiss.

"About bloody time, honestly I'm so happy for you too. Practically made for eachother." I beam at them. Taken back by the news that they are finally a couple, it's been years in the making.

My smile soon drops as I spot the platinum blonde boy, staring at me from across the small street. My heart drops and I get a lump stuck in my throat.

Aimie and Blaise notice the change as they follow my eyesight until they to see the blonde. He doesn't look well at all, his skin is even more pale than it always is and even from this distance I can see the dark circles under his sad eyes. He seems to shake his head slightly and quickly exits through some ally way.

'Has he-" Aimie starts but I just shake my head, she was going to ask if he's made any contact with me since the letter, I always hope though, but that hope is soon crumbling as the days turn into weeks.

"He won't even answer to me either Kass. I miss him." Blaise adds, the two are close friends, we are so worried for him.

"We all do." I say, an attempt at a small smile on my face.
