"Kass! Kass you need to wake up now." Draco shakes me and I unwilling open my eyes.

"What's wrong?" I ask as I stretch and sit up.

He's pacing, that's never a good sign.

"You need to bring Arabelle down stairs and fast. Potter and Weasley are in the dungeon, Granger is with my aunt. Get up. Don't bother changing, get Arabelle. If there's a chance that you'll be able to sneak out it's now. Just go Kass." He tells me and I get up, running to Lorenzo's room.

I pound on the door for about a minute until I manage to wake up Enzo.

"Kass, what are you-" I cut him off and head straight to where Arabelle is now awake wiping her eyes. I pick her up and balance her on my hip, before looking back at a stunned Enzo.

"It's time Enz." That's all I have to say for him to acknowledge what I'm speaking of. His face drops as the realisation that he may never see the two of us again hits, tears form in his eyes. Much like my own.

"I suppose this is goodbye then love." He says, trying to keep his emotions in check.

"What about see you later? Huh?" I try to comfort him, I give him a kiss on the cheek and place my forehead on his.

"Be safe, love. Keep our baby safe." He whispers.

"Always." I state.

"Goodbye baby girl." He says as he places a kiss on Arabelle. It breaks my heart, but I leave. Trying to make it easier for him, we aren't good at goodbyes.

"Mummy where are we going?" Arabelle questions.

"We are leaving baby, we're going to find some place safe." I tell her as we make our way around the maze that is the Manor.

"Why isn't daddy or Dray coming with us?" She asks.

"Daddy and Dray have to stay here."

We are approaching the hall where I can hear Bellatrix losing her shit about a sword or something and I am about to race towards the door until an unconscious Lucius falls at my feet and my cover is blown.

"Kassandra come here, meet our guests." Bellatrix beckons me and I have no choice but to obliged as she grabs Hermione to use as leverage against a surprised Harry and Ron. Draco looks to me, completely defeated as he realises that sneaking out isn't an option anymore.

"Well well well, look what we have here." She says as she holds a blade to Hermione's neck. "Ah it's Harry Potter, he's all bright, shiny and new again. Just in time for the Dark Lord."

"Call him. Call him!" She shouts at Draco who hesitates so Lucius steps forward in his place, but just as he places the tip of his wand to his mark we hear squeaking coming from the chandelier.

Dobby! I recognise him almost immediately from visiting the Manor before the start of second year, Draco was incredibly upset when he was set free. He took a liking to the elf- we all did.

He sends the chandelier crashing to the floor, making Bellatrix push herself out of the way and releasing Hermione. There's a struggle, and I try to keep Arabelle from seeing anything as the trio meet up again.

"Stupid elf! You could have killed me!" Bellatrix rages.

"Dobby never meant to kill. Dobby only meant to maim or seriously injure."

Narcissa tries to fire a spell but dobby is quick to disarm her.

"How dare you steal a witches wand! How dare you defy your masters!" Bellatrix shouts.

"Dobby has no master. Dobby is a free elf. And dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends!."

"Kass come with us!" Harry shouts and I look to Draco, who is trying to hide his gratitude but sends me a small, knowing nod and I don't hesitate to run over to the rest of them. Grabbing onto Harry's arm just in time for dobby to apparate us.

I land harshly on a sandy beach, Arabelle still held tightly in my arms.

"You okay baby?" I ask her as I grab her face looking for any injuries but thankfully, she is completely unharmed.

"Are we safe now mummy?" She asks me as she takes in her surroundings.

"You are, that's all that matters right now."
