Madam Pomfrey was able to make quick work on my eye, and fortunately the swelling has gone and I'm only left with a faint bruise around the bottom of my eye. Just as I am about to leave I hear the voices of both Draco and Enzo from behind a curtain.

"May i?" I ask the healer and she nods, giving me permission to see the boys.

"Hey guys" I announce as I walk through the curtain and plop myself on a chair in between the two beds that the boys are led on.

"Kass, we're so sorry." Draco tells me and I look to Enzo who nods in agreement.

"That should never have happened in the first place." Should I really be lecturing them at a moment like this? Probably not but I'm afraid if I don't do it now, I never will.

"We need to communicate to eachother... Enzo, if you felt at all pushed out you should have told one of us and you Draco, you shouldn't have retaliated the way you did, it was over kill. What ever happened to us? We were best friends once upon a time.
I know that the situation we are in is difficult for all of us. By this point you know that I have feelings for both of you and I too know that one day I will have to make a decision that will affect all our lives but I cannot dwell on it right now. It will all be meaningless if I die during this next task. So let's set our feelings aside until there isn't the constant threat of danger looming over us.
If something happens to me, you two will need eachother more than anything so please. Please just enjoy the time we have left."

"Truce mate?" Enzo chuckles while reaching over me to shake hands with Draco.

The blonde thinks for a moment before holding his hand out, shaking the other.

"Truce."

We spent the next few hours laughing together, Draco and Enzo having already made up before my lecture. It felt so good to just relax, like we were just the three close friends that we once were. Before the feelings and pain. For once, it felt like I didn't have a care in the world, but soon my world would be turned upside down and it would haunt me for the rest of my life.
