As the twins followed Leon, they ended up by stairs, which led up to more of the castle. M/N really didn't want to go up them, for he was exhausted from all of this running and dodging that he has been doing ever since Leon came to rescue them. Ashley still held onto her brother tightly as the trio walked up the stairs, she had let Leon go after a while.
Leon holding his gun up as some of the cultists came from the second balcony, flamed arrows in their hands as the shot at the three.
Leon took out his rifle, aiming it up towards the balcony as he shot at the infected creatures who were trying to get to Ashley and M/N, both of them hide behind Leon as he did so. Finally, after finishing shooting, the three made it up and to another set of stairs, which the twins followed Leon up. Ashley and M/N both screamed as a fire ball came crashing down into the canopy in front of them, destroy the structure. M/N felt like crying now, finally realizing just how much these creatures wanted Leon dead, and they didn't care that the twins would possibly get injured either. His heart raced at the thought of Leon possibly getting killed because then and he didn't want that to happen.
They followed Leon as another flamed ball hits the side of the building, causing Ashley to tightly hug her brothers arm, "no way! They have catapults?" Ashley was in disbelief and so was her brother, cause who designed all this shit?
The trio made it to the other side, Leon shooting at one of the men, essentially killing it. Leon waited for one of the balls to hit, before grabbing M/N by his hand and dragging the twins with him before another would hit, "I guess this is their idea of a warm welcome!" Leon shouted to them, another joke that didn't need to be told, yet Leon didn't seem to care. He let go of M/N's hand and shot at one of the ment that stood in front of them on the steps. "Come on!" Leon told them as they climbed the steps. Ashley was roughly taken away from M/N as he was shoved on the ground by one of the creatures, Ashley was now in it's hold as M/N tried to get to her.
"Ashley!" Leon exclaimed, grabbing one of his guns and shooting at the creatures legs, causing it to drop her. M/N went to her, brushing her blonde locks away from her face.
"You okay?" He asked, she nodded. He helped the young blonde up and held her underneath his arm, his heart rate spiking from what just happened.
"Ashley, are you alright?" Leon questioned, his hand going to her shoulder in a comforting gesture.
"Yeah, thanks." She smiled at him. Leon returned it and let her shoulder go. The twins followed him towards another destroyed building around the corner, away from the catapults.
"You alright?" Ashley asked as they saw him try to open another door.
"Yeah, no big deal." He told them. Leon looked around before holding his gun up into the air and shooting something, which exploded causing the twins to jump at the loudness of it.
"A little warning next time would be great," Leon just gave him a smirk, going in front of the two and shooting another barrel that exploded the other catapult, causing the twins to cover their ears.
Leon led the way across the bridge, the trio trying to dodge one of the catapults as they made it to the other side. They went towards the hole that was blasted inside of the building. Leon went down first, then Ashley, M/N was hesitant at first, but jumped down after a moment, landing on his knees after he jumped down, which caused him to wince in pain.
"This could work." Leon said as Ashley helped her brother up into a standing position. M/N limped over towards Leon, Ashley by his side. They watched as Leon severed the chain linking to the cannon, watching as it goes up to the next story.
They went out of the room, a ladder near where they needed to be. As the three climbed up, an explosion went off near them, making M/N nearly fall off the ladder if it wasn't for Ashley who put her hand onto his back when she was close enough. As they climbed up, they saw Leon shoot at another barrel, killing the person controlling it and destroying the catapult.
They finally made it around towards the cannon, M/N eagerly grabbing onto the handles as Leon and Ashley caught up with the man. They stood on either side of him, as said boy spun it around to face the door, "do you even know how to use this?" Leon asked.
"Nope!" M/N exclaimed, before pulling the trigger which sent a cannon ball to the door, exploding it to pieces. "Hell ya! Now that's what I'm talking about! Can I get a up high?" He said, holding his hand up for a high five. Leon looked at him, before Ashley clapped her hand against his own, a big smile on her face. He grinned. Boy, was he gonna tell their dad he got to use a connon ball when they got back to America.
Note: hello, sorry for such a late update, am currently obsessed with "the owl house" and was writing my Raine & Eda story. Though I really do hope y'all are liking how this one is turning out ^^

Do u think Leon should be the one to Kiss M/N first or should the reader be the first to kiss Leon?
