m/n sighed in relief when the last of the armor was killed, a lantern in his hand ready to throw if Leon needed more time to shoot it. But in the end, he defeated the creatures that made his skin crawl. Ashley stood next to him, putting her own lantern on the railing as she too sighed in relief that it was done, her hands on her knees as she whipped the sweat from her forehead. At least the twins are getting exercise from this. "Hey! Are you okay?" She asked Leon from below, who was running over towards them so he could catch 'em.

"Yeah! Nighty-night, knights." Leon joked, looking up and putting his arms out for Ashley to jump down first, which she did and landed into his arms. Leon put her onto her feet and raised his arms again for m/n, who jumped into the man's arms with a shout.

"You sure you're all right? You're not burned, are you?" Ashley asked the older man, who set m/n down on his feet. Ashley went to her brother's side again, her hands gripping his arm again.

"Nah, thank you for your help, you two. That really did the truck." Leon thanked the twins, who smiled at him. Leon went to one of the horses as m/n went to the other one, the two pushed down the levers and watched as the door was cleared to exit out of. The trio exited the room of nightmares and walked down the hallway.

"You don't think they're gonna move, do you?" Ashley asked, huddling close to her brother, terrified of what these armors would do.

"Don't worry about them Ash, they're not like the others." m/n reassured her as Leon led them out the room and up the stairs to the statue. The older male put the last two heads on the statue causing the door with the same statue to open. "Huh, that was easy," the young man spoke, rolling his shoulders.

"Leon, m/n, the stairs!" Ashley exclaimed, the two men turned around to see that more of those things were climbing the stairs and towards them.

"Stay back!" Leon told her, "m/n go with her," m/n nodded, about to go to his sister, before a metal cage fell in front of them, causing the young boy to stumble back and into Leon's back, his eyes wide. Leon turned to Ashley, an arm going around m/n so he could get around him. "Run! Now!" Leon  told her, which she did. The older man pulled m/n out of the way of one of the creatures that jumped down there with them. Leon killed it with his gun, before they almost got hit with an arrow on fire. Another one came down and Leon stabbed it, pulling it in front of them as another arrow came at them, hitting the creature in the back. m/n saw the fire glistening, his hand quickly reached out and the fire engulfed his hand as he put both his hands to his mouth and blew. The fire engulfed the last of the creatures. Leon watched, his eyes wide with amazment and awe. His heart stuttered when the fire dissipated into the air and m/n shook his hands to rid of the fire, before he winced, his nose started to bleed.

Leon put a hand on his shoulder, "hey, you okay?"

Nodding, m/n whipped the blood from his nose, smearing it in the back of his hand. "Yeah, I just overdid it."

"That's a relief, Ashley would absolutely kill me if you hurt yourself." m/n chuckled at his words, knowing it was the truth.

"I think she'd kill us both if I hurt myself." Joked m/n. Both men now we're stuck in the bird cage, and hopefully Ashley was alright by herself for a bit.

Note: two chapters in one day, I'm on a roll. Btw, this is a sfw story I don't write nsfw stories. This story will obviously contain fluff, angst, wholesomeness and of course goofiness between these three lmao

I can't wait until we see Luis again, m/n are gonna be so gonna share one brain cell during the time in the mines.
