inferno | part i

Quick note: I skipped the part where they were in the castle where u have to help protect Ashley whilst she does the levers and stuff. I hated that chapter of the game, so I'm not putting it in my story.

M/N was out of breath after helping Leon fight against all of those cultists inside of the one room they just exited. He had to help protect his sister as she had gone and pulled all of those levers to help them across that blackened lake of sorts. Ashley went next to her brother, rubbing his back slightly, trying to get him to call his breathing.

"Come on," they heard Leon say. Looking over, they saw Leon by one of the walls that Ashley needed to climb through. Ashley pulled her brother with her towards the older man.

"'K." Ashley said, crawling on his back and climbing over the wall. She jumped down from the wall and onto the other side, going to the metal door before she started coughing up a storm again.

"You okay Ash?"M/N asked his sister.

"Yeah, I'm fine N/N," she said, opening the door. The men walked through as Ashley went straight to her brother again to grab his arm as they walked behind Leon. As they continued on, they made it to a gate.

"Looks like the right place." Leon said, before Ashley let go of her brother, shover him into Leon's chest as he turned around, his arms now around the younger male, who looked at his sister, confused.

"You okay?" Leon asked her, his arms still holding the taller male, which was a little difficult considering the younger male was taller than Leon.

"I think so. Uh-" Ashley said, falling forwards causing both of the men to catch her. M/N was beyond worried right now for his older sister.

"Instead of worrying about her... Worry about your own skins!" Ashley spoke dangerously, pulling away from them with Leon's knife.

"Ash?" M/N questioned in fright, she looked at him with those demented eyes.

"Foolish little lamb." Ashley said, going to stab her brother, but Leon pulled him out of the way, catching the sharp objects with his gloved hand. She pulled away causing Leon to grunt. "Temperance, children!" She said, pointing the knife now as her neck as she walked backwards. The two men slowly walked after her, before a gate closed between them. Ashley finally came too, sobs wracking her body as she dropped the knife, she looked at the two men, fear striking her heart as she ran off.

"Wait!" Leon shouted.

"Ashley! Come back!" M/N exclaimed. They watched her run off, M/N leaned his forehead against Leon's shoulder, really wishing this night would end.

"Shit." Leon cursed. He moved back from the gate, M/N still at his side. Leon looked at him, noticing his head still leaning on his shoulder. "Come on, we need to find Ashley." Leon said, shrugging his shoulder. M/N grumbled, lifting his head up and pushing away, going towards the stairs behind him. Leon followed, noticing little fire mark being left behind as m/n walked. He's never seen the younger man so angry before.

They walked up a few steps, going into a room with four dead corpses worshipping that same scorpion thing from before, "this is messed up." Leon cringed at the sight. They then went to another stairway, Leon vaulted over the hole in the wall, as M/N followed after, before hearing the chants from the infected. Leon crouched down and pulled M/N down with him, turning to face him with seriousness.

"Okay, I need you to hide M/N," M/N started to protest by shaking his head, "listen, I know you want to help Ashley, but right now, I need you to hide, okay. I need you safe," Leon said gently, taking the younger man by his arms. M/N sighed.

"Okay," he nodded. Looked at the man, before making a split second decision. He leaned closer to Leon, and kissed the side of his mouth, his lips feeling soft on Leon's heating up cheeks. He pulled away, his hand going to Leon's cheeks, pushing their foreheads together, "you be careful, Ashley and I can't lose you either." Leon knew this moment would stick with him, as he watched the younger man leave him to go hide. His heart fluttered at the remembrance of the kiss, a smile gracing his lips. He couldn't help but fall deeper in love with the younger man. He could finally admit, that nothing about his feelings was straight, and he was alright with that, because he knew M/N was nothing like Ada Wong, the woman who had died multiple times, only to survive and live to ruin his life again by making it seem like she actually had any sort of feelings towards him. He knew M/N's feelings were genuine, for he gave Leon a look that not even ex's gave him.

Man, what would the president think about his agent falling in love with his son?

Note: I love Ada Wong, I really do, but CapCom really needs to make Ada and Leon happy frfr.

Also, M/N made his first move, I wonder how this progresses their relationship, wink wonk.
