After the trio had finished defeating the creatures. m/n panted as they made it to one of the rooms near the bridge they had brought down for them to cross. Leon went up to the dynamite that laid about, picking it up and stashing it in his bag carefully, "I bet I could use this." Leon mumbled to himself.
"Dynamite, huh? Nice find, my friend." Luis commented with a smile.
"Yeah. Should make quick work of that dead end." Leon said. m/n quirked a brow, confused as his breathing slowed.
"Who the hell leaves Dynamite around anyways?" m/n asked, Leon going past his with a pat to the shoulder.
"Best not linger on the question m/n," Luis spoke, dragging him towards Leon. Leon jumped from the ledge, looking up as m/n sat down and jumped down into the brunettes awaiting arms, Luis jumped down next to them as Leon put the younger male down.
The trio made their way down the hall, Luis grabbing m/n arm and dragging him behind one of the walls, awaiting for the explosion. the two men jumped as they heard it, Leon scambling to get behind the wall, "¡Dios mio! Give us a heads-up next time!" Luis glared at the brunette who gave them a sheepish smile. m/n shrugged the man's hand off of his arm, before running out into the hall.
"Come on ladies! The princess awaits!" m/n exclaimed, a smile on his lips as Leon shook his head, following behind m/n. Luis caught up with the man, the two walking side by side.
"You handle yourself pretty well... You sure you're just a researcher?" Leon side eyed him, Luis ruffled his hair and looked down at the shorter male.
"I'm just an average guy who happens to be quite the ladies' man." Luis joked, winking at Leon who rolled his eyes. Luis smirked, turning back to see that m/n was in front of a grate, looking into the other room. Leon jogged up to him, a hand going to his back.
"I don't like the looks of this room, guys," m/n spoke, standing up and going to Luis' side.
"Whatever happens, we have your back m/n. We'll make sure you don't get hurt," Leon nodded to Luis who patted m/n's shoulder. Leon turned back to grate and kicked it, looking back at the Spaniard who waved his hand forward.
"After you, I insist." Luis smiled. Leon rolled his eyes.
"Such a gentleman." Leon spoke, turning to jump through the whole, but jumped back when they saw an armored creature pop up in front of them. Leon tried to run to the two, but was caught by the leg, Luis moved around m/n and grabbed Leon's arm, trying to pull him up, but the two were taken into the room.
"Leon! Luis!" m/n exclaimed, watching Luis he thrown to the ground, his gun pointed at the armored monster, shooting at it with Leon being dropped in the process. m/n watched them with anxiety.
"Now you owe me!" Luis spoke, breathing heavily.
"Luis! Heads up!" Luis tucked and rolled out of the way of one of the creatures, landing next to Leon. m/n kneeled in his place by the opening, terrified that the two would be killed by these big monsters.
"Now we're even." Leon said, the two starting to stand up.
"Is it always like this with you?" Luis asked. The two ran opposite of each other, Luis distracting them as Leon went over to the opening, his arms out as m/n quickly jumped down, the younger boy clinging onto him with a tight hug before they separated.
"My therapist is gonna need a therapist when this is over," m/n chuckled, looking up at the creatures. Leon shook his head, and letting m/n go.
"Come on, let's get this over with," Leon smiled at him, taking his gun out. m/n smirked, the lava below them being manipulated by his own hand, and as he took some, he threw it at the giant monster who cornered Luis which caused it screamed in pain. It turned around and charged at him, stomping where m/n used to be, after having to tuck and roll away from its foot.
"Why don't you pick on somebody your own size?" m/n held his hand up, the crackling of the lava around his hand being held threateningly towards the monster. The monster came at him as m/n ran, he used his momentum to jump in the air, not before throwing lava platforms in front of him as he walked above them. This was gonna be fun.
"That was, awesome!" m/n exclaimed happily, looking at the two men, the lava put back into it's original place. Luis and Leon panted, wondering how m/n wasn't tired, but ignored it as Leon went to the big door with an opening on top.
"m/n, come on," Leon said, kneeling down in front ofnthe door. m/n went over to him and climbed up, he jumped up to grab the ledge and pulled himself over it with a grunt. The younger man leaped into the room. "How's it look?" m/n didn't answer him after a beat, working on how to open the door before finally getting it.
"There we are!" m/n exclaimed, the door opening as the two went inside. The younger man beamed at them.
"They're keeping those things cooped up down here, too?" Leon asked, looking at Luis as the three went to the stairs.
"The underground here is sacred to them. See, this is where they discovered las plagas. Preserved inside ancient deposits of amber." Luis explained as the trio went up the stairs and into another mine shaft. Leon grumbled in irritation.
"Of course they did," Leon spoke, rolling his eyes. He wasn't surprised really, it wasn't the first time he had to deal with this shit.
Finally, the three had made it to another room, one that had carts inside of them, Leon went to one of them, dreading it, "you're not suggesting we ride this thing?" Leon said, turning to him. Luis walked over with m/n who was slowly turning pale at the thought of getting into something like that.
"Do you see any other way?" Luis asked, jumping off the ledge with m/n hesitantly following. Luis helped him inside of the cart, before climbing in himself. "Give us a push, Sancho!" Leon jumped from the ledge and went behind the cart.
"Who're you calling "Sancho"?" Leon sassed, causing m/n to chuckle. He really hoped this ride wasn't that long, and he hopes that he doesn't get sick. He was never fond of roller coasters.
