"I'M GLAD YOU'RE FINALLY BACK, LORD XGASTER."

A black and white alternate version of Alphys appeared in the world of Underswap. Nothing remains. All that she could hear were small sniffles coming from a weeping child.

She turned to her side to see a certain gray child standing behind Swap Papyrus. As much as they don't want to admit it, they have to say this; what was a dead corpse.

"Why didn't you go with them?" Core asked. "You acted so strange. . ." They looked at what was beside Papyrus and their empty eyes widened a bit. Right next to the hopeless skeleton was a neatly laid corpse of a familiar human. Their eyes were closed as they looked almost peaceful.

Core silently shuddered, feeling terrible about what just happened. They faced Papyrus' back again to continue their talk. "Papyrus. . ." they sighed, their guilt growing even bigger than before. ". . . you know I can't help you this time," they hesitantly admitted, the words they wanted to say almost being caught in their throat. "There is no way to take you to the Omega Timeline. This timeline is about to collapse. . . but you don't deserve-"

"TELL ME IF IT'S WORTH SURVIVING."

Core was cut off by Papyrus, who now lost all hope.

"I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE, KID," he admitted. "I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE ANYBODY ELSE DIE. NOT MY BROTHER. . ." He glanced beside him, seeing the corpse of his new friend as their corpse glitched for a second. "NOTHING MATTERS ANYMORE," he sighed. "THE RULES OF OUR UNIVERSE HAVE CHANGED FOREVER."

Core heard the silent sniffles slowly stop. They tilted their head to see Chara slowly fall limp in Papyrus arms. Core clenched their hands to their shirt as their concern grew even more.

"NONE OF US CAN FIX WHATEVER IS HAPPENING OUT THERE," Papyrus continued. "WHY IS IT SO HARD TO LIVE IN THIS. . . THING?"

The last survivors of Underswap were erased from existence.

Core gasped as a heart locket dropped to the floor. Why did this have to happen? Why was the multiverse so cruel? After a few seconds, bits of black tears dripped from their empty eyes.

". . . They did all they could to save their timeline. . ." Core stifled silently as the tears kept pouring out from their eyes.

Just then, XAlphys appeared besides the weeping child. Core was startled by her sudden appearance. They watched as XAlphys began walking forwards. XAlphys kept on walking, observing all that remained on Underswap.

"Pacifist Timeline number 122. Alternate Universe, Underswap," XAlphys began. "There is nothing left." She continued her walk towards the edge of the former battlefield as she continued examining this place. "I can see that some fragments of the code were sent to our home," she noted to herself. "This is a disaster. All because of the human's bad behavior. . ."

Core watches as the monotonous version of Alphys keeps walking. Was it them. . . or was she talking to herself?"

"I truly comprehend your pain," XAlphys replied to whoever she was talking to. She looked down, revealing her eyes with a black sclera and white pupils.

"Cross, I'm sorry, but you are in big trouble because of that child."

Her glasses shone back to its regular foggy appearance. XAlphys gently took a piece of many papers she had clutched to her chest and let it fall freely. The piece of paper gracefully fell down onto the floor before it flashed purple for a second. After that, the world of Underswap was being sucked into the paper, being put under Quarantine.
