It's been nearly three hours now and Devin still hasn't comeback. What's taking him so long? What could possibly take this long? My phone suddenly rung, I picked it up; it was crack, probably from the crash. I answered it; it was Devin he said,

"I'm so sorry it took me so long baby, but it'll be worth it when you know what I was doing, I'll be there in less than five minutes."

I said,

"Okay, I'll be ready when you get here. Love you."
He said,

"Love you too."

And hung up the phone. I got up from the bed, and grabbed my clothes Devin had laid out on the chair. There was a long sleeve blue shirt, and a pair of blue jeans; I put them on and as soon as I was finished Devin came walking in he asked,

"Are you ready baby?"

I said,

"Yes, let's get out of here."

We walked out of the door and took the elevator down, when we got in there we were the only ones and Devin held me close to him. He had his hands on my hips, we were face to face and he leaned in to kiss me. When he broke the kiss he said,

"I love you baby, and I got a surprise for you."
I asked,

"A surprise? What kind of surprised?"
He smiled and said,

"Sorry, no hints."
The elevator doors opened, we walked out to the car; Devin opened my door for me. I could hardly pick up anything because of the blue cast on had on. Devin got in and he pulled a blindfold out of the glove box and said,

"You have to put this on for the surprise."

I laughed and said,

"That's just a little kinky Devin."

He laughed and said,

"Just do it babe."

I tried putting it on, but it was very difficult because of the cast. Devin then leaned over and put it around my head, he said,

"Sorry baby, I didn't think about your cast."

I smiled and said,

"It's okay baby."
He started the car and drove off; it was quiet the whole car ride. We drove for about ten minutes, then finally we came to a stop, Devin got out and came over to open my door and help me out. He asked,

"Are you ready baby?"

I smiled and said,

"Yes, show me baby."
He asked again,

"Are you sure you're ready?"

I laughed,

"Devin Morgan take this blindfold off me and let me see."

He laughed and stood behind me, removed my blindfold and before my very eyes was a big, beautiful brand new house. I didn't know what to say but I didn't have to because Devin did that for me he was hugging me from behind and he said quietly,

"It's all ours, every inch. My parents gave me my trust fund early. This is our home baby."

He kissed my cheek, I was so happy. I love Devin so much, this was all a dream come true. Well minus the fight and the car crash, but those things didn't matter to me anymore. I have to learn to live in the present and the past, my mother was out of my life and she couldn't stop me from making my dreams come true. I turn around and kiss Devin's soft lips, I said quietly,

"It's perfect, you're perfect, and we're perfect."

He smiled and said,

"Well that's not all, I have one more thing to give or should I say ask you,"
He took my hand and we walked up to the front of the big porch, he reached in his pocket and bent down on one knee. Could he be proposing right now? Are we ready for this? Are we even ready to have children? He pulled out a small square box and opened it and asked,

"Nichole Elizabeth, will you do the honor in taking my hand in marriage?"
I smiled, I wasn't sure what to say, but my heart was telling me to go for it. So, before I knew it I was saying,

"Yes, oh my gosh Devin Yes. "
He smiled, put the ring on my finger and hugged me; he gripped me close, I could feel his heart beat more than I ever could before, I started cry happy tear. This was the best moment of my entire life, the happiest. Devin pulled us apart and picked me bridal style, and carried me over the threshold of the house. Inside the house was beautiful; it had a flat screen and nice furniture. The kitchen was remarkable, I couldn't believe it. Devin looked at me and asked,

"What do you think princess?"
I then said,

"Baby, it's beautiful, it's big. It's perfect, I couldn't ask for anything more beautiful."

He smiled and said,

"I could tell you one thing that is more beautiful."
I smiled and asked,

"What could possibly be more beautiful than this?"
He smiled and put his hands on my hips, looked me straight in the eyes and said,

"You, your smile, your personality. But, most importantly everything about you."

I blushed. Was he really telling this? I didn't know what to say, so I didn't say a thing I just kissed him.
