I looked at my food, I didn't really have an appetite with everything that happened yesterday, and I was still in a lot of pain. But, Devin cooked it and I don't want to be rude. So, I began to eat it, I kept thinking of the second baby that died. I then felt like I was going to throw up, I ran to the bathroom, Devin ran after me. When Devin got in there he held my hair up for me. When I was done I sat up, I was crying, Devin wrapped his arms around me and said,

"It's okay baby, I'm here with you. I know it hurts."

I tried to pull myself together, but every time I tried more and more tears came flowing out. I then thought of Cadence and said,

"Devin. We forgot about Cadence."

He then said,

"Oh shit!"

Devon helped me up and we ran to the kitchen, Cadence was okay thank god. Suddenly the door bell rung, Devin said,

"I'll get it, you stay here with Cadence."

I nodded and he walked to the door. I started playing with Cadence, she had Devin's smile. She was adorable, big blue eyes, and nose as cute as a button. Suddenly I heard Devin say,

"How did you know where we lived?!"
I then walked to the door and saw my father, I wondered the same thing Devin than. I then said,

"Devin baby, let's not yell, Cadence is here. Now, let's just listen to him."
Devin didn't looked impressed but nodded, my dad then said,

"The hospital had your address on file."

I then said,

"See Devin, no need to yell."

Devin then started walking away and said,

"Of course not."
I ignored him and asked,

"Would you like to come in dad?"
My dad then nodded and came in. I walked him over to where Cadence was and said,

"Dad, this is your granddaughter Cadence."

Devin then walked up stairs with an attitude, I then asked,

"Do you mind if I go upstairs and talk to Devin really quick?"
My dad smiled and said,

"Of course not, go."

I then said,

"Thank you, I'll be back in less than five minutes."
He nodded and I turned and walked up the stairs, when I got then Devin was in our room siting on the edge of the bed. I then asked,

"What's wrong baby? We talked about this."
He sat there for a moment, then said,

"Yes, but doesn't it seem a little odd that he just showed up here? And how he got our address. Think about it Nikki."

I then said,

"Devin. There is nothing wrong with my father. Okay?"
Devin then asked,

"Where's Cadence?! Did you leave her down there alone with him?!"
He got up and started walking out, I then asked,

"Why does it matter?! He's my father; he's not going to hurt her!"
He then turned around, he came toward me; I was up against the wall while he was in my face, he then said,

"Open your eyes damn it! You don't know him!"
I then said,

"YOU DON'T EITHER!"

But he was already walking away. Out of anger I kicked the mirror in that was hanging on the closet door; the glass shattered everywhere, I then tripped over something and fell on the glass. Both Devin and my dad came rushing in, my arm was bleeding badly. Devin then picked me up to get me out of the glass; he put me on the bed. He ran into our bathroom to grab a towel, when he returned he sat next to me to put it on my arm, he then said,

"I'm so sorry baby."

I didn't say a word, I then glanced at Devin's feet, he only had socks on. I then said,

"Devin, your feet... The glass"

I could see my blood, and I passed out.

Sorry it's short....
