The lady was already back, I then said,
"I'm sorry I took so long, I was on the phone with my fiancé."
The lady then said,
"That's okay sweetie, have you found anything you liked?"
I stepped over to the shelf and saw this blue guarder with a bow. Devin's favorite color was blue. I then said,
"I'll get this one."
The lady then asked,
"Okay, is this and the dress all you will be needed today?"
I then said,
"Yes, thank you."
"She then said follow me please."
We followed her to the register. I started thinking about how Devin never told me about his cutting. Suddenly I felt as if I needed some air so I asked Trinity,
"Is it okay if I meet you outside, I just need some air?"
She then said,
"Yes of course."
I nodded and walked outside. I wasn't mad at Devin, I was just hurt. I've told him EVERYTHING about me, and he couldn't tell me this. I felt as if we didn't know each other at all. I feel like our whole relationship was kind of based on a lie. What else hasn't he told me? Suddenly Trinity came out with everything and asked,
"Are you ready?"
I nodded and we go it the car.
When we arrived at the house and was parked in the driveway Trinity asked,
"Are you okay Nikki?"
I then said,
"Yea... I just have a lot on my mind."
She then asked,
"Are you having second thoughts about the wedding?"
I then said,
"No, of course not."
She then said,
"Okay, just making sure. Come on let's get inside."
I nodded and we went in the house. When we got inside Cadence was awake. I picked her up and gave her the biggest kiss ever. I then walked over to Trinity and said,
"Trinity meet your niece Cadence."
She then held her arms out to hold her, I handed her to Trinity. She then said,
"Oh my gosh Devin she has your eyes!"
I laughed and said,
"That's what I said!"
Devin came walking in from the kitchen and said,
"Lies!"
Trinity and I both laughed. I then gave Devin a hug and kiss and asked,
"Did you miss me baby?"
He smiled and said,
"Nope."
He leaned in and kissed me. Trinity then said,
"Ugh... No not in front of me. Ewe."
Devin then laughed and said,
"You've seen way worse."
She laughed and said,
"Like walking in on you masturbating? Or walking in on you with a girl.?"
He laughed and said,
"Hey. I have a fiancé now. Come on? And besides I can't help you don't know how to knock."
She laughed and asked,
"What time is it?"
I pulled out my phone and said,
"It is almost seven."
She then walked over and handed me Cadence and said,
"I have to run; I have things to take care of. Oh Devin did you find a church to have the wedding at?"
