Hazel's P.O.V.

"Thank you so much for letting me stay here, Arianna," I said, glancing around the room. "I won't be staying here for too long, just two or three days. Once I find a room, I'll move out." Arianna came closer and reassured me, "It's absolutely fine if you stay a bit longer." Then she called out, "Brianna!" A girl with long blonde hair and brown eyes, who looked just like Arianna, entered the room. "Wait, both of you are twins?" I asked. "Yes, she's Brianna," Arianna replied. Brianna greeted me, "Hi, I'm Hazel, Arianna's friend." I said. "I heard you'll be staying with us for a few days." she said "Yeah" I nodded "That's nice," Brianna said, linking her arm with mine. "Let me show you around." We left the room together, and Brianna began giving me a tour.

After taking a look around, I mustered the courage to ask, "Do you both live alone?" They exchanged sad glances, and Arianna replied, "Yeah, our parents passed away just a year ago. We lived with our aunt for a while, but once we turned eighteen, we moved out." Brianna added, "We've only been here for a month." Understanding their situation, I inquired, "Do you both have jobs?" I was hoping to find employment myself. Arianna nodded, saying, "Yes, I work at a café, and Brianna works at a convenience store." Excitedly, Brianna chimed in, "Oh, there are vacancies at my store! If you'd like, you can join us." I smiled widely and replied, "Okay, that sounds great!" Arianna suggested, "You guys are not hungry, let's go out. It'll be my treat." Surprised, I exclaimed, "Really? Okay, let me get ready in five minutes." Brianna dashed into her room, and I turned to Arianna, mentioning, "You live in a large house. It must be expensive." Arianna explained, "Actually, it's our aunt's house, and she allows us to stay here. We pay her rent, but to be honest, she only asks for half the amount." Before I could respond, Brianna rushed out and shouted, "Let's go party!" We eagerly headed out together.

After enjoying a delicious meal and getting to know each other better, we started walking back home. As we strolled along, something caught my eye, and my heart skipped a beat. There, standing right in front of me, was Aiden. "Aiden," I mumbled in disbelief, "you're alive."

(To be contd...)
