Hazel's P.O.V.

I slowly woke up in my bed and checked my mobile—it was 6 in the morning. My stomach rumbled, reminding me of my hunger. On weekends, Lily usually wakes up at 10 o'clock and Liam at 11. I cautiously peeked out of my door to make sure they weren't around. Seeing that they were still asleep, I went outside and started making breakfast.

"Hazel," Liam called out to me as I turned around. I chose to remain silent, continuing with my cooking. "Hazel," he repeated, trying to get my attention. Again, I ignored him. Frustrated, he pleaded, "Please, just listen to my reasons for what I did."

Reluctantly, I turned to face him, staring back with a mix of confusion and anger. "What's the point?" I replied, my voice tinged with bitterness. "Whatever reasons you have, they won't bring Aiden back. You took him away, and now there's no way to change that."

Liam's voice softened as he tried to explain himself. "I did it for you," he said. "I know I lied, but you always favored Aiden over me. You were never kind to me." Frustration welled up within me as I listened to his words. "Both you and Kai claimed to like me and cared about me, yet you both took away the person I liked and now expect me to feel something for you," I said, taking my breakfast into my room and closing the door behind me.

I couldn't hold back the tears any longer, and they streamed down my face. But then, I took a deep breath and reminded myself, "No, Hazel, enough of crying. You need to be brave." I wiped away my tears, collecting my resolve. Once again, I inhaled deeply and composed myself before stepping outside.

"Liam, please sit down on the couch," I instructed him firmly. Then, I made my way to Lily's room and knocked on her door. She emerged, rubbing her eyes, clearly still half-asleep. "What's going on?" she asked, her voice groggy.

"Sit on the couch," I replied, my tone commanding. Both Liam and Lily complied, taking their seats as I stood before them. Taking a deep breath to steady myself, I made my announcement. "I turned eighteen, which means I can live my life the way I want. I won't be staying with you guys anymore. I'm leaving London," I declared, my voice filled with determination.

Curiosity filled Liam's eyes as he questioned, "Where will you go?" But I replied dismissively, my tone laced with rudeness, "I don't think that matters." With that, I turned away from them and retreated into my room, closing the door behind me.

(To be contd.....)
