Hazel's P.O.V
It had been a long and exhausting week for me. Ever since I had encountered Kai, strange things had been happening to me. I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off about him. My mind was a jumbled mess, and I couldn't make sense of my thoughts.

Lily, my best friend, had been my confidante throughout this ordeal. I had told her everything, but she didn't seem to understand the situation. "It's all in your head, Hazel. You're overthinking it," she had said.

But I knew that something was not right. Kai was no ordinary guy. There was something about him that was different, something dangerous. His mere presence made my heart race, and I couldn't explain why.

As I lay in bed, I tried to calm myself down by taking some deep breaths. I knew I had to stop thinking about Kai, but it was easier said than done. My mind kept going back to that day when I had first seen him. He had been standing with his group of friends in the cafeteria, his piercing eyes locking onto mine. It was as if he could see right through me.

I had tried to avoid him ever since, but he seemed to be everywhere I went. I couldn't shake him off, no matter how hard I tried. It was as if he had some sort of hold over me, and I didn't know what to do.

Lily's words echoed in my mind as I tried to drift off to sleep. "You don't know Kai," she had said. And it was true. I didn't know anything about him, except that he made me feel uneasy.

But as I closed my eyes, I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was in danger. Something was not right, and I had to figure out what it was. Maybe it was time to confront Kai and find out the truth. I knew it was a risky move, but I couldn't ignore my gut feeling any longer. As I drifted off to sleep, my mind raced with thoughts of Kai.

Next day at school
The atmosphere in the hallway felt eerie as we made our way toward the library. The walls seemed to be closing in on us, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that we were being watched. Liam's footsteps echoed in the empty hallway, adding to the tension. Nothing had happened yet, but I was feeling something is wrong. My heart felt heavy in my chest.

But as we waited for Aiden to come, time seemed to slow down. 30 minutes had passed, and there was still no sign of him. My mind raced with all sorts of thoughts, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.

"Guys, it's been 30 minutes. He should be back by now," Liam said, his voice quivering with fear.

I looked at my watch and realized that he was right. It had been 30 minutes since Aiden had left to get his backpack. "Do you know where Aiden's classroom is?" I asked Liam.

"No, I don't know," he replied.

But then, Lily spoke up. "I do. Follow me," she said, leading us down the hallway.

We followed her in silence, our footsteps echoing in the empty corridor. As we reached the end of the hallway, we saw Aiden's classroom. But something felt off. The door was slightly ajar, and there was no sign of Aiden.

I hesitated before entering the room, but Lily pushed the door open, and we stepped inside. The room was empty, except for Aiden's backpack, lying on his desk.

"Hi sir, did you see Aiden?" I asked his science teacher, Mr. Rogers, who was sitting at his desk. He looks up at me and says "No, i didn't see him. I give him him a nod.

"Can I take his backpack?" I asked, Mr. Rogers.

He nodded, and I picked up the backpack. But as I turned to leave the room, he spoke up again. "Hazel, Aiden didn't come to this room, but Kai did. You can ask him about Aiden," he said.

As he mentioned Kai's name, a shiver ran down my spine. I had a bad feeling about this. Kai had always given me the creeps, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that he was somehow involved in Aiden's disappearance.

But as we made our way down the hallway, we saw Kai standing at the end of the corridor, his eyes locking onto ours. He had an eerie smile on his face, and I knew then that we were in danger.
