Alarm clock rings!
"Shit,"I said hitting the button to make it stop.
I woke up. I usually don't wake up this early, but I have an audition today that Daniel help me get. I still can't believe he would do such a thing. This is awesome of him to do this. I got up and went straight into the bathroom to take a shower. Then I brushed my teeth. After those two things, I put my bra and panties on to go eat breakfast. When I finished eating, I went back in my room to put some clothes on. Then I did something to my head. I even wore makeup. Then I looked at myself and did a few vocal exercises.
Knock Knock Knock!
I rushed to the door because I knew who it was.
"Hello,"I said answering the door.
"Good morning,"Daniel said.
"Good morning,"I said.
"I brought you some breakfast,"he said handing me a plate.
"I um just ate actually,"I said.
"Oh well did you eat good?"he asked.
"I ate some cereal,"I said.
"Here,"he insisted,"You need to eat a good breakfast."
"Thank you,"I said gladly taking the plate from him.
We walked inside my house and he sat on my couch.
"Nice crib for a college girl who works at a café,"he said. I assume throwing shade at me.
"That was so shady,"I said.
"How?"he asked.
"Daniel just because I work at a place like that and don't bring in a lot of money to my home doesn't mean I have to live in a shabby old place," I said.
"You're right I'm sorry,"he said.
"Yea,"I said.
"But check this out when you become famous you'll be living in a mansion with billions of dollars,"he said wrapping his arms around me.
"What about you?"I asked.
"I don't really want fame I come from a rich family so fame just ain't my thing,"he said.
"Oh I guess that's reasonable,"I said.
"Come on we should go before we be late," he insisted.
We left my home and he drove us to the record company. When we made it there, there weren't many cars there. My first thought was...Ain't nobody here, but I wanted to check for myself. We got out and walked up to the door. He opened it for me and we went straight in. I let him do all the talking since he has the connections. They let us go straight to the back and the first person I saw was Clive Davis. I was amazed that he was here in person.
"Danny!"said Clive.
"Hey sir,"he responded while hugging him,"Nice to see you again."
"Nice to see you too who is this lovely lady here with you today?"he asked.
"Toni Braxton nice to finally meet you sir you're a legend Mr. Uhh Clive Davis," I said nervously.
"Why thank you Ms. Braxton,"he said,"So Daniel what brings you here today?"
"Talent right here behind me she can sing her butt off and I think she deserves an audition,"he said.
"Oh is that right?"he asked.
