After the little phone incident, I decided to just stop and get myself together. I did that by doing some chores. I washed some of the dishes and vacuumed the floor. I also cleaned the bathroom and everything else. I need to chill. I cleaned the house and decided to take the trash out. I tied the trash bag up and took it outside. While I was throwing it into the trash can, it felt like something or someone was watching me. I saw this very familiar car parked on the other side of the road. I squinted my eyes to look closer but I saw nothing. Maybe I'm just tripping. I brushed it off my shoulder and walked up to the door and I saw a note on the doormat.

I bawled it up and tossed it in the trash with everything else. I'm not putting up with this shit. Now he knows where I am. Now what?
"MOMMY!"I heard Nayla screaming scaring me half to death.
"Shit! Nayla's you scared me,"I said.
"I'm sorry Mommy,"she said.
"It's okay, what is it?"I asked.
"I'm hungry again,"she said.
"Okay then I'll cook dinner,"I said,"But no more yelling in the house."
"Yes ma'am,"she said.
I watched her walk away then I went into the kitchen to find something to eat. There wasn't much so I just put whatever he had together for a meal. I turned the burner on and grabbed some pots. I guess I'll make some Mac and cheese and beans today. That's all here. I began cooking and my mind started running everywhere.
"Mmm smells pretty good in here babe,"I heard Gary say as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Oh, hi Gary I didn't hear you walk in,"I said.
"Yeaaa what you cooking?"he asked.
"Uhhhhh just a little something something Nayla was hungry sooooo I just put something together,"I explained.
"Ohhh okay that's cool,"he said unwrapping his arms.
"Yup,"I said.
"Anything happen while I was gone?"he asked.
"Well you wasn't gone that long Gary,"I said avoiding the question.
"True that,"he said,"I missed you the whole time I was gone though."
"Awwww that was sweet of you to say,"I said.
"Yea but I don't like you lying to me,"He said.
"What?"I said looking his direction.
"I know he's been calling here and bothering you, but I was waiting for you to tell me yourself,"he said.
"Gary..."I started.
"Baby I love you so much and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you, I thought we had enough trust to share things like this,"he started,"I wanted to protect you and we haven't even made it official yet."
"Maybe that was my reason, I didn't want you to get involved and you knew that. He's a dangerous man and I don't want to make this your problem,"I said.
"Well baby you made it my problem when you said I love you,"he said walking towards me,"You told me you wanted me and you accepted the fact that I wanted you. We made love Toni."
