Today I'm going to my first self defense class. Gary is taking me and Nayla because I'm afraid to leave her alone with anyone especially when I know that Daniel's looking for us.
"Goodmorning,"Gary said watching as I rose up out of bed.
"Goodmorning,"I said yawning.
"Slept good huh?"he asked laughing.
"Yea I guess you can say that silly,"I said giggling along.
"Well come on let's get up and get dressed so we can make it to the class on time,"he said.
"You're absolutely right,"I said throwing the cover off of me.
After I threw the covers off of me I eased out of bed so I wouldn't wake Nayla just yet. Then I went to my bags to pull out some clothes to change into. I grabbed some underwear and a bra along with a towel to go get into the shower. I saw Gary standing in the living room thinking about the last couple of days and hugged him from behind.
"Oh heyyy,"he said peeking behind him.
"I'm going to take a shower,"I said,"Why don't you join me."
"Really?"he asked.
"Yes really ,"I said.
I grabbed his hand and we went into the bathroom together. I turned the water on and we got undressed then we stepped in together. I could feel his eyes on my body and he gave me this stare. His abs were just glistening and he was looking really sexy. I pulled his waist towards me and hugged him.
"I'm sorry,"I said.
"Sorry for what?"he asked.
"For these last couple of days,"I said,"I've been very rude to you and you didn't deserve any of that."
"Baby it's okay I know you're still hurt that's why I forgive you,"he said,"I love you."
"I love you too,"I said kissing him.
We started making out and washing each other's bodies until we were clean. Then we got out dried off and got dressed. Once I was dressed, I woke Nayla up and got her ready. We all ate breakfast and when we were done we left and were headed to my class.
"Gary I really want to thank you for taking me,"I said rubbing his thigh.
"Of course Toni,"he said rubbing my hand.
"Mommy where are we going?"Nayla's asked.
"We're going to a class so Mommy can learn how to fight,"I said.
"Why?"she asked.
"Because I want to be able to protect you from harms way sweetie,"I said back.
"And we're here,"Gary said parking in a parking spot.
"I'm so nervous,"I said unbuckling my seatbelt.
"Don't be you'll be fine babe,"he said.
"Mommy come on let's go,"she said hopping out of the car.
"I'm coming I'm coming,"I whined.
I got out and grabbed her hand so we could walk in together. Gary opened the door for us and we walked in relieved that not many people were in here. I saw a lady sitting behind a desk so I guessed that she was where I sign up at. I walked over to here and she greeted me with a warm smile. I told her why I was here and she gave me some papers to fill out. After I read the papers and filled them out. I signed my name on the sign in sheet and waited for the coach to recognize me.
"Hey how you doing?"this tall white muscular man asked.
"I'm fine and you?"I asked back with a warm smile.
"I'm awesome My name is Steve and I'll be your instructor today,"he said reaching his hand out for me to shake it. I did.
"Ohhh you're the teacher, I thought that guy was,"I said pointing my thumb over my shoulder at the man.
"Oh yes that's Dave he's my assistant,"he said.
"Ohh okay,"I said before scratching my head.
"Yes so what we're going to be doing today is talking a bit and getting to know each other before we actually start learning techniques,"he said,"So I'll need to take this."
"My jewelry?"I asked.
"Yes ma'am I'll keep them safe unless you'll like to give them to your partner,"he suggested talking about Gary.
"Okay,"I said handing him my jewelry.
"Now will you follow me?"he asked.
"Yes,"I said.
"Mommy,"Nayla said.
"I'm coming back sweetie Gary's here,"I said.
I followed the man to the back where he padded me up just in case for injuries. Then he brought me back out to teach me.
"Whew that's hard work,"I said breathing heavily.
"Yes but it works,"Steve responded.
"Well I think that's enough for me today, "I said.
Aww man well it was a pleasure to be working with you today,"he said.
"You too thanks,"I said.
When class was over Gary took us out to eat then we went back to the house. As soon as we made it back they both went different places but I just stayed in the kitchen. I could hear the phone ring.
"I got it,"Gary said.
He picked the phone up and I listened.
"Hello,"he said,"Uh hello."
"Who is it?"I asked.
"I guess no one,"he said,"I'm about to go to the store real fast I'll be back."
"Alright,"I said.
He left the house and as soon as he left the phone rung again.
"Hello,"I nervously answered.
"Hey baby,"I heard Daniel say,"I miss you."
"Leave me alone because I don't miss you,"I said.
"I want my family back,"he said.
"Never Daniel I want out completely away from you period,"I snapped.
"It's him isn't it?"he asked.
"Who is him?"I asked.
"The pool boy,"he said,"That's where you are."
"I don't know what you're talking about,"I said.
"Oh but I know and I will get you, but until I'm tired of your bullshit I expect you to come back on your own like the big girl you are,"he said,"Okay baby."
"I love you,"he said before he hung up.
I hate him so much but I refuse to go back. Not now at least. I just don't know what to do now. He knows who I'm with now. He's getting closer.
I began to pant and cry at the same time. I'm so nervous. Jesus Christ!
