I reached down and grabbed myself. I was in pain. He went downstairs and brought another beer upstairs. I managed to get up and put some other clothes on but I was so sore that I barely made it to my drawer. I pulled out another pair of underwear and got into bed. He pulled me close to him and wouldn't let me go. He kissed my shoulder and told me goodnight after a "I Love You." Then I thought to myself My husband raped me.
I woke up the next morning to the smell of breakfast. I looked over to his side of the bed and there was a tray of food and a note.
Sorry about last night I wasn't in my right mind. I didn't know what I was doing until I sobered up. I love you and I didn't mean to hurt you I'm sorry...

It only took me a second to digest everything. I smiled to myself and grabbed the tray with all my favorites and began to eat. Then I saw Nayla walk in my room with Daniel right behind her.
"Goodmorning Mommy,"she said.
"Goodmorning sweetie,"I said picking her up.
"Goodmorning baby,"Daniel said.
To be honest I didn't want to respond but I didn't want to start anything especially in front of Nayla so I spoke back.
"Goodmorning,"I said allowing him to kiss me.
"I see you've read my letter,"he pointed out.
"Uhhhhh yea,"I said.
"You know I love you right?"he asked.
"Yes and I love you too,"I said quickly to avoid conversation.
"Mommy can I have some?"Nayla asked pointing to my pancakes.
"Of course you can just give Mommy a second,"I said.
I started to cut the pancakes up and Daniel snatched the knife out of my hand.
"Let me do it for you,"he said.
"I could have done it myself you know,"I said.
"But I want to do it just let me be a gentleman,"he said.
"Fine,"I said.
He cut my pancakes and tried to feed me. I didn't want him to do it but I was okay with him doing it.
"You like that?"he asked.
"Yes it's actually delicious,"I said.
"Here you go princess,"he said before feeding Nayla.
"Thank you daddy,"she said.
"You welcome princess,"he said,"Come on let me go make your own breakfast and we'll just let Mommy enjoy her breakfast."
"Okay Daddy see you later Mommy,"she said.
"Alright sweetie I'll be down there in a just a moment,"I said.
